HOJO and Lorealle

What happend to Lorealle? What happend to HOJOs? very rude people there. Of all the years we have stayed there we are thinking of staying elsewhere
 
I have not seen her post here in a while, so I was wondering if she was still around as I had a couple of questions for her as well. We're planning our first stay there in May.

When I made our reservations, I had good service, so I can't help you about the rudeness issue you had.
 
They said she is no longer there

:confused:Oh no! She was the BEST person at Hojo! I wonder what happened? She was always so helpful and responded so quickly to emails, fb messages and phone calls :sad2:
 

she was last here when they changed policy an she posted here to calm ppl down with out her +there new changes i sure hope our trip in nov is still good.

Im afraid the hojos isnt gona be as good with out her there so sad to see her go

Actually I think that was Jonathan, the GM, that was answering on that thread. I was the one who started the long thread about their cancellation policy changing and remember wondering why Lorealle wasn't responding like she normally does. I just did a quick search and the last post that I could find that was signed by Lorealle was in mid-January.
 
Same with her facebook , it is still active but no responses to posts since Mid Jan.
 
What?!? She's not there anymore? Oh my gosh, she is such a sweetheart and so good with her customer service to people.
 
I hope their service is still the same. I chose hojo over the hilton because I kept reading on here how wonderful the staff was.

I have to say that when I called to make my reservation they didn't mind my million and one questions and answered all of them wonderfully.
 
So funny I happened to see this. I needed to talk to in-house reservations today about a couple of my reservations - and I called 3 times, letting them know I needed to talk to IN-HOUSE, and they transferred me to a voicemail, and then central booking twice! I finally gave up and sent an email. They responded to that and took care of me within minutes. So ... :confused3
 
a few days ago I was going to book online, It came up that it was giving me the Ent. rate all 5 days. I decided to call though because I wanted 2 rooms. I was quoted for the Ent. rate for the first three days only. I told her that I got all 5 days online. She said you better make your res. online then because she couldn't authorize it.

So I went online and ALL the prices had changed. I tried to call back and no on answered. I finally got them an hour later and there was NO explanation.

Hmm.... something fishy there! Oh well I just went with what they gave me but it made me wonder what is going on there after I have heard SO many good things about their customer service.:confused::confused:
 
i still think things changed there an not in good way but guess we will see.
 
I wonder if Willie Simpson is still there? I worked directly with him years before Lorealle was ever hired. Service was outstanding then, and I'm hoping that while it is still under the same management, it will continue to be.

Sending good wishes to Lorealle wherever she landed. She's an awesome person. :)

Yes! I remember emailing Willie whenever we wanted to go to see if the entertainment rate was available! He was so nice and we always were able to get the rate. He is still listed on their website (Director of Sales). :goodvibes

So did you ask for the DISboard member rate of 15% off regular rack rates for the days you didn't get the entertainment rate? I hope so. :)

I posted a question a few days ago how this worked and did not get a response. I made reservations for three rooms, total of 8 people. Can my Disboard membership qualify for all three rooms that did not get the Ent rate? What proof do you need to be able to get that discount?
 
Last post I could find made by Lorealle on the HoJo Anaheim Discussion Board was Jan 14th.
 
Since Lorealle didn't say 'Good-bye' (very out of character for her not to let us know) - it makes me wonder if it was less than an aimiable parting.

Lorealle was so loyal to Hojo's and through the years of working with them, it stood out loud and clear. She was a real asset to the Hojo's team, that's for sure.


I think the GM Jonathan and Willie will keep us all happy though. They do seem intent on keeping their customer base loyal to them. :)


To get the DISboards discount, I believe you have to know about it and ask for it to be applied to the rooms. You will have to contact Hojo's to find out, though. :goodvibes
