Park Vue is sooooo close. I had a bad experience back in 06 and haven't been back. But everyone says it's much better now. We're actually staying at Park Place next month, which is next door. It has breakfast and a 5th sleeper sofa.
I used to be a huge HoJo fan. They had really good pricing and free parking, both of which are no longer the case. Prices are now way to high for the location. Customer service has always been excellent, though. And for us, the real pull was the Building 1 park view rooms. They're great. And used to, you could get them for under $200/night in the off season. But now it's in the high $200s, which is much higher than PVI or BWPP which are literally at the cross walk. If their prices were better than the "crosswalk" hotels, we'd still be staying there. But now it seems they're trying to get a premium price for a not-so-premium location. Still, I miss the views each morning. These are from back in 2014. If park view is your thing, you can get these for far less than what you'd pay at Paradise Pier or DL Hotel.
