Hojo Anaheim vs. Park Vue Inn

Park Vue is sooooo close. I had a bad experience back in 06 and haven't been back. But everyone says it's much better now. We're actually staying at Park Place next month, which is next door. It has breakfast and a 5th sleeper sofa.

I used to be a huge HoJo fan. They had really good pricing and free parking, both of which are no longer the case. Prices are now way to high for the location. Customer service has always been excellent, though. And for us, the real pull was the Building 1 park view rooms. They're great. And used to, you could get them for under $200/night in the off season. But now it's in the high $200s, which is much higher than PVI or BWPP which are literally at the cross walk. If their prices were better than the "crosswalk" hotels, we'd still be staying there. But now it seems they're trying to get a premium price for a not-so-premium location. Still, I miss the views each morning. These are from back in 2014. If park view is your thing, you can get these for far less than what you'd pay at Paradise Pier or DL Hotel.

Thank you.

I would call and ask. I noticed on their website that the front desk doesn’t open until 7am. It’s not a 24 hour front desk. We stayed opening weekend and I called ahead to ask the same thing. They were ok with us parking early. Not sure it’s the same now, because I know a lot of the hotels are having issues with parking lately. I would for sure call.

I contacted Park Vue yesterday before booking to ask if we could park there if we would be checking in later. The answer was “yes” but I was told to stop at the office and they would give us a parking permit. We booked this location for November as we want to try something a little closer that is not on the DL site.

Also, last week we stayed two nights at the Wyndham which is located on Katella and very close to the intersection of Harbor. Great stay. Very clean, free parking in an underground gated area, great cafe with Starbucks and a super friendly staff. The walk to the main gate is not bad either. We’re staying there again in a few weeks.
