George got to bed earlier to wake up ealier. He didn't want to starve like the day before. He got up around 7:30, and headed to breakfast. He started with cereal and orange juice. George looked at his schedule. "Hmm, Charms first. I wonder how that will be" he said to nobody in particular.

Luna woke up and headed to the Great Hall for breakfast. She saw George sitting at the Ravenclaw table and sat next to him. She took out her schedule and saw that she had Charms next. She had heard from some Gryffindor friends that Charms is sort of fun and they learned a spell to levitate things. She was looking forward to start casting some real spells.

Perpetua woke up semi-early the next morning and headed towards the Great Hall, she was excited for her classes and wanted to get a full meal before starting today. She saw Luna and George sititng down eating, and sat next to them.

As Brutus stood in front of the doors to Hogwarts that morning, he thought to himself why couldn't he just be normal like the others? He was already late as it was, so he grabbed his trunk and began to walk off hoping he'd eventually find someone to guide him to Dumbledore's office.

Lily's first class this morning was History of Magic, which, unlike most of the other students at Hogwarts, she enjoyed. Professor Binns was rather boring though...but once you got past that, the class itself was interesting. She had woken up a little late this morning...as usual, but Lily had managed to make it to breakfast. She couldn't go the whole morning without any food; it would just make her more tired.

As Brutus left Dumbledore's office he was excited to be a part of Hufflepuff.
He couldn't wait to get settled in his room and begin classes.

Kate woke up early. First she had History of Magic then double Herbology. She dressed, and went to the Great Hall.

Brutus was finally done settling in. All his belongings were already in his room, so he didn't have to carry anything really. "Where do I go now?" Brutus thought as he left the common room starving.

Daffodil noticed someone she hadn't seen before in the common room. 'Hi my names Daffodil. Are you new?"

George walked to the Charms room with other Ravenclaw students. He made sure he had his books with him, then remembered he left his wand in the common room! Luckily, they weren't too far from Ravenclaw Tower, so he rushed up there and grabbed it.

 

[I Am What I Am]

Kate sat in the History of Magic classroom. She pulled out her schedule to see who her teacher was. His name was Professor Binns. After waiting a few minutes, she pulled out her school book and began to read it while waiting for Prof. Binns.

Luna waited for George to come back in the corridor and when he did, they continued the walk to charms. She had this class with just ravenclaw first years, so it was more comfortable than being withany students she didn't know.

After George got his wand, he met up with Luna again and went to Charms. "Do you know what we'll learn in Charms?" he said to her.

"I heard we learn a levitating spell!" Luna answered, "Should be interesting, I'm glad we get to start learning some real spells."

After History of Magic was Transfiguration, one of Lily's favorites. She arrived a few minutes early, so she got to choose her own seat. She picked one towards the front; her quietness made it harder to be heard if she sat in the back.

So I guess we're on second period now. Oh I am still in charms.

Luna had double charms this morning so while the other classes were changing, the Ravenclaw first years remained. Professor Flitwick had just taught them the 'swish and flick' wand movement and the incantation 'wingardium leviosa'. He had just told the students to try the spell out on a white feather. Luna began, "Wingardium Leviosa," she said waving her wand. The feather lifted a little but not more than an inch. Her second, she spoke more clearly, "Wingardium Leviosa" and the feather rose in the air! She lifted it almost to the ceiling! "Well done," said Flitwick and Luna brought the feather back to her desk and grinned.

Brutus sat bored in transfiguration listening to Professor McGonagall lecture them on how no magic is to be used outside of class.
