Jane:" Look, I'm not going to wait out here for a teacher to give us detention, okay." She knew Cindy almost had the answer, but needed time to think about it.

Ivy: "Yes, there might be danger, but there's no dance, which makes this just as good as Beauxbatons!"

Cindy: Cindy sighed and opened the portrait, angry at Jane. Why wouldn't she tell Cindy the truth? She walked into the Common Room and plopped down on a large armchair, staring into the fire.

MK: MK nodded. "Well, Beauxbatons will always be better, in my opinion, most likely because it's almost like home," she said thoughtfully.

Professor da Nala:" Who is this?!" She had just arrived.

Professor Black: She saw Profrssor da Nala walk up. "This is Toby Fitzgerald, the new defense teacher." It was time. Melanie knew she couldn't hold this up much longer and figured that she might as well let Professor Smith know what had been going on, especially now that Fitzgerald was there. "Now that you've met nearly all the staff, I'm afraid I'm going to have to leave you for a bit," she said kindly, then turned to Smith. "Evan," she said politely in a quieter voice, "may I speak with you for a moment?"

Jane: She wrote a note saying:
I am not allowed to tell any students my secret. You will have to figure this out yourself.
She gave it to her cat and watched as it gave the note to Cindy.

Cindy: She read the note, eyes narrowed. She gave Jane's cat a stroke down the back and watched as it went back to Jane. Secret? Her secret... Whatever was going on had something to do with werewolves. And deep down Cindy knew what the greatest possibility was, but she wasn't ready to admit it to herself, not yet, anyways.

Prof. Smith: Evan nodded. "Of course. Your office or mine?"

Professor Black: "Doesn't matter, though mine's closer," she said, walking in that direction. "I-I've got so much to tell you,"

Ivy: "Well, that's true. It does have Debate, and it does feel like home," she replied slowly.

Professor Black: "Doesn't matter, though mine's
closer,"

Prof. Smith: "Well, let's go to yours then," he said.

Ivy: "Well, that's true. It does have Debate, and it does feel like home," she replied slowly.

Prof. Smith: "Well, let's go to yours then," he said.

MK: MK nodded. "I'll admit it. I miss Beauxbatons," she said quietly, feeling homesick.

Jane: She went to pet Beauty, her cat. Beauty stepped away from her hand. " So this is how it's going to be?!" She knew animals would know about her, but her own cat actually not liking her? She scooped Beauty into her arms and gently started stroking her, and she felt Beauty relax.

Professor Black: When they reached her office, Melanie pulled Evan in and shut the door. "Listen, I-I haven't any idea why I seem to know everything this year, and I hope this is the last time I'll be pulling you away to tell information, but I'm so glad you're alive. I thought for sure...the odds of surviving twice," she finished. " There's more to the story, I believe, than everyone's said."

Prof. Smith: "Yes, I'm glad you're alive too. I had hoped we would never see another battle after the one fifteen years ago, but I guess we were wrong."

Cindy: Cindy watched and remembered. Mira! She hopped out of the chair and hurried to her dorm. Her cat wasn't on her bed. She gave a small squeak. Was she gone? Where could she possibly be? She lowered herself to her stomach and peered under her bed. There she was, with two bundles. Mice? Rats? Ick! She called quietly. "Mira, come her, kitty." Her cat bent down and picked up one of the bundles and carried it out from under the bed. Cindy gasped. It was a kitten! She watched as Mira set the kitten down and then ran back under the bed, emerging with another squealing kitten. "Aw," Cindy breathed. One kitten was pure white, the other was calico. Both were fuzzy with blue eyes. She picked them up. "Let's go show Jane, Mira," she said happily, walking down the dorm, her cat following. The kittens mewed and squirmed in her arms. So cute! She ran up to Jane, hoping this would break the tension between them. "Jane, look, Mira had kittens! I knew she looked plump, but I thought I was feeding her too much!" Mira gave a small hiss and backed away from Jane. "Whatever is the matter, Mira?"

OOC That was long :p

Jane:" Well, I can't say I'm a cat person any more..." Beauty jumped from her arms and hissed, then inspected the kittens, purring. Jane bit her lip. She bent down and stroked a kitten.

Cindy: Cindy frowned. "Aw, what's wrong, Beauty?" She scratched the cat behind the ears. Then she walked over by the fire and set the kitten down, watching them play as she leaned against the stone fireplace. Mira sat beside her, curled up.

Jane: She carefully stroked Mira, and she started to purr.

Prof. Smith: "Yes, I'm glad you're alive too. I had hoped we would never see another battle after the one fifteen years ago, but I guess we were wrong."

Professor Black: Melanie nodded-she knew where this was going. "Linus," she breathed. "I suppose we should get most of the fluff out of the way, then, first, because I've got to tell someone. You know, he really did only want to speak with me. I hadn't any idea...I believe we've both just grown so used to life-threatening situations that it's expected," she said, then told him of the rest of the conversation, ending when her dreadful aunt killed him. "In short, my mother fell in love with a lie, which does make me ill. Thank goodness that didn't last long. But still, though, I haven't any idea how she could have been so unsure...I've always looked more like my father than anyone."

OOC: this app is terrible! It didn't submit the first time so I had to rewrite everything...

Jane: She carefully stroked Mira, and she started to purr.

Cindy: "See, you're fine, maybe Beauty's just in a bad mood." She knew a cat would be uncomfortable around a werewolf, but Mira was fine. Then again, Mira also likes anything if it meant attention. The white kitten made a jump for Cindy's blonde hair. "Hey," she laughed, pulling the kitten off. "You're an energetic little boy, huh?"

OOC: That sucks!

Prof. Smith: Professor Smith listened quietly. "Man, that's - that's terrible. I'm truly sorry, it must have hurt to hear about all of that. Linus was a two faced jerk."

Jane: " He's so cute!" She laughed as it chewed on Cindy's hair.
