Prof. Fitzgerald: "Hello. I'm Toby Fitzgerald, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher. Jezebel sent a message to me. I have actually never taught before, but..." he saw her. Could it be? "Melanie Black, is that really you?"

Prof. Fitzgerald: He finally hears voices of what sounds to be other professors. He walks up, he doesn't recognize any of them at first.

Prof. Claybourne: "Identify yourself sir!" Professor Claybourne said sharply. Morgan was not taking any chances, this could be a death eater. Then when he said his name she relaxed. "Sorry, thought you were an intruder."

Harriet: she sighed and nodded. "I think may be asleep for the next week."

Prof. Claybourne: She chuckled softly.

Ooc: you know what I just remembered? Gab's patronus is a wolf. Lol. Ironic, huh?

Professor Black: Melanie was very surprised to see him standing there. Had he really gotten a position? "Yes, that would be me, but-wow." She said in astonishment. Melanie knew she looked a mess, so she was a bit surprised he had recognized her so quickly. Yes, she did remember him. They had been in school together.

Ooc: It said that when Kingsley became minister, they may have been abolished, but since in here they had a different minister, maybe Kingsley was somehow forced out of the position before he could do anything. ) no clue.

Professor Black: "No-I-I'm just so surprised to see you here," she said, turning red. "Fifteen years. Toby and I went to school together," she then explained. Melanie turned back to Fitzgerald. "Evan will be surprised you're here as well. We thought you'd've taken a job at the ministry."

Prof. Fitzgerald: "Oh I will go talk to the headmistress when she calls for me. I wouldn't want to disturb her." He pulled something out of his pocket, his cell phone. "Got a text!" He then noticed he was probably being rude. "Yeah Mel and I did go to school together. I had forgotten about Evan though." That was a lie. "I decided not to work at the ministry. I actually went to the states. I lived among the muggles, with all the comforts of a wizarding home though. I ended up getting a job at a muggle clothing store. I was the regional manager actually. That's where I got these jeans and this orange v-neck."

OOC: This is pretty fun playing a wizard who is like a muggle

Professor Black: Melanie saw him pull out his phone-a muggle device she had heard about though never used-and check it. She frowned when she heard he had forgotten about Evan. With all his pranks, he had been rather popular.
"So are you glad to be back at Hogwarts, then?" she asked politely, then sighed. This reminded her so much of her school days.

Prof. Fitzgerald: "Hey dude. Good to see you!" He shook Evan's hand. "I can't complain. I haven't had anything stressful in my life, not compared to here recently. I read the newspaper this morning. They said a freak spell was accidentally cast and demolished part of the building killing a few students and staff members. That's odd for Hogwarts, thought it was sturdier than that, am I right?" He laughed and then glanced at Melanie. She was even more beautiful than he remembered. Toby also did not know that stupid Evan Smith taught here. "I actually didn't take the position. I owed Jez a favor so she called me back on it. Strange though, I also am the new Head of Slytherin. Probably should buy a snake." He smiled.

Professor Black: Melanie smiled her first real smile since the staff meeting two days ago. What a strange thing to do, going to the States. She remembered Toby rather well, actually. He had always been so kind to her, and was rather smart. She remembered having worked with Evan and Christine to try and figure out a creative and nice way to say no when he'd asked her to the Yule ball. Melanie had felt bad, though, and didn't want to hurt his feelings, so she had ended up accepting the invitation. She hoped that he didn't actually think the Daily Prophet was telling the truth. "Yes, that would be correct. We, er, had an attack. The students...well, I hope you're up for being on the lookout this year." She wasn't sure whether or not the other professors had wanted him to know anything, but she felt it necessary. Anyone who worked at Hogwarts should have known what they'd signed up for.
