Professor Linus: “What is going on here?" At that moment he just happened to be strolling the halls.

Lucas: Lucas glanced at the professor. He was so embarrassed, his first day of being a prefect, and he was looking like he couldn't get a handle on the situation. "Well sir, apparently he," gesturing to Jackson, "ran into her," gesturing to Vanessa, "and he,' gesturing to Braxton, "well....I'm not sure how he got involved, but he called me over, and I was trying to figure things out." He blushed as red as his hair, he must be looking incompetent.

Lucas: Lucas glanced at the professor. He was so embarrassed, his first day of being a prefect, and he was looking like he couldn't get a handle on the situation. "Well sir, apparently he," gesturing to Jackson, "ran into her," gesturing to Vanessa, "and he,' gesturing to Braxton, "well....I'm not sure how he got involved, but he called me over, and I was trying to figure things out." He blushed as red as his hair, he must be looking incompetent.

Professor Linus: “You obviously are having trouble being a prefect. Now run along all of you. You need to be in class."

Braxton:

This was not exactly what he had in mind, but seeing the prefect in his state was priceless. He just gave the others a satisfied look, and walked to class.

Lucas: "I'm sorry Professor," he muttered. He turned away quickly and rushed off to class wanting to put as much distance between himself and the Slytherins as possible. He didn't know if he ran past Cindy and Jane, he wasn't paying attention, but it didn't matter, he didn't want to talk to them about this. Professor Linus was probably going to tell Professor Jay he shouldn't be a prefect; he had already messed up and it was only his first day!

Professor Black: Professor Black hadn't been quite near enough to see the situation that had been at hand, although she had been coming down the hall and did hear the last few remarks which she highly disapproved of. She didn't think it was necessary to go telling off students for trying to assess a situation. She was compassionate and very kind, though, so she of course wasn't going to get angry with him-not for something this minor."Professor Linus, I'm sure Mr.Sullivan didn't mean any harm."

She didn't think it was necessary to go telling off students for trying to assess a situation. Veronica: Veronica read as she walked to Transfiguration. She was on the last few chapters of the novel, and the excitement had escalated. She was reading eagerly, completely oblivious to the outside world.

Lucas: Lucas just ran. He hated this, he hated it. It was his first day, did everyone expect him to automatically know what to do in every situation he came across? Plus he made a fool of himself in front of those Slytherins, they were probably making fun of him right now! He wondered if his godfather would be disappointed in him. He couldn't wonder about his real parents, they were dead! Ugh, why did his life suck so much?

The path to Muggle Studies was similar to transfiguration was similar. She saw an anqaintance in her grade, Lucas, crying. She wondered what was wrong and went up to him.
"Lucas, are you OK?"

Professor Black: She let him pass, clasping her hands together and walked on, having given up although hoping Lucas was all right.

Linus: He yelled back to Professor Black. “Change is coming this year. Mark my words if you get in my way, Lucas will be the first recipient of the change."

The path to Muggle Studies was similar to transfiguration was similar. She saw an anqaintance in her grade, Lucas, crying. She wondered what was wrong and went up to him.
"Lucas, are you OK?"

Lucas: Lucas wasn't crying,. just really upset, but he looked up at the voice. It was a familiar Ravenclaw girl, a fifth year like him, what was her name? Brielle? Yes, it was Brielle. Brielle was a friend of one of his friends. "Yeah, I'm okay Brielle," he whispered.

Lucas: Lucas wasn't crying,. just really upset, but he looked up at the voice. It was a familiar Ravenclaw girl, a fifth year like him, what was her name? Brielle? Yes, it was Brielle. "Yeah, I'm okay Brielle," he whispered.

"What happened?! Sorry, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to.. Things have just been odd today."

Lucas: "Well, I was walking down the hall, you know, on my way to Transfiguration, and some dude from Slytherin calls me over, because I'm a prefect you know, got my badge this summer in the mail, you know? Anyway, he's claiming that this little third year Ravenclaw bumped into this clearly older Slytherin girl on purpose, and he's going on about how it's an outrage, and it just seemed fishy, after all why would this Ravenclaw boy purposely run into a girl that's clearly older than him and in Slytherin of all places? I mean, a Gryffindor might do that but you Ravenclaws are supposed to be wise. So I start enquiring into the situation, trying to get more details, and Professor Linus comes down the hallway, interrupts, and calls me a bad prefect for not having a handle on the situation! I didn't start it! And it's practically my first day as a prefect, and now Professor Linus is probably going to tell Professor Jay to take away my badge! It's so stupid!" He looked down, embarrassed.

Lucas: Lucas shook his head. "I don't think so. He wasn't in our year. I knew the girl though. Vanessa," he practically spat the name. He shook himself. "Sorry. I'm the Hufflepuff seeker, and she's the Slytherin seeker, and things had gotten tense between us before breakfast.......I really don't like her. Of course, if you were at the championship last year, then you probably know why I severely dislike the members of the Slytherin quidditch team," he said, referring to his incident.
