I might as well request this school to be closed down. Or taken over entirely by the ministry. Now Melanie Black, you must watch your tone. Melanie drug Evan back into the room, where she lifted her protective charm, then turned back to him. "Would you mind taking Jackson and Veronica back to the hospital wing? Tell the nurse to keep a very, very close eye on them. I'm going to find Professor Jay-it wouldn't surprise me if this is my last day after what's happened."

Professor Black: Melanie, having given up trying to produce a patronus in the horrid mess, walked swiftly and purposefully down the hall to Professor Jay's office. She muttered the password and walked in. "I'm afraid we have more bad news, professor," she said, and told her about the minister who was to be coming and the attacks. "We're certain we know it's her-I believe the school needs more protection, although I believe Evan already went that course. You already know, though, that it's very likely she is still in the school grounds. We've got the injured students in the hospital wing and the rest are secure in their dormitories."
Evan's patronus came in requesting her appearance in the hospital wing, but she waited to hear what Jezebel had to say first.
