She was trying as hard as she could to fight it, but couldn't every step the curse made her take took more of her life away. She felt all of the pain of the stabs and hits. Why couldn't Evan just kill her and get it over with?

Professor Smith: He wrapped her head in a cushioning charm before giving her a few well aimed punches and kicking her feet out for under her so she fell on her back on the ground. "That, Freya Finch, is for destroying Georgie and daring to speak such foul, vile rubbish. Trust me, you'll be getting worse when I find you."

Professor Toodle: she was hoping that Melanie wouldn't try to save her if Evan did attack her. She just wanted this to be done. "C'mon Evan. You can do it. Finish me. You know the spell." She cackled.
