OOC: Just so you know, I looked up protection charms again and these are some of the powerful spells Mel uses to protect the castle:

Protego maxima. Repello inimicum. Fianto Duri. These three together make the shield almost unbreakable. So anyone who crosses will disintegrate on the spot.

Protego horriblis. This rebounds dark magic specifically.

Sophia: The second that she arrived in the common room she made up her mind to go to the hospital wing in case a student needed a little cheering up. She had always taken pity on those in the hospital wing and fortunately she had never had any injury where it would be necessary for her to go there. -Pinkshake1

Soph: She sauntered out of the common room and then once she was in the hallway alone she hurried to the hospital wing, her bag full of books from the library banging against her hip the whole way there. Finally when she had arrived Sophia reached out and pushed open the heavy wooden doors. "Hi there," she said before she even saw who was in the room.

Jane: She shook her head vigorously.
