Ah, nostalgia. Thank you very much old post wasters threads for reminding me of my early childhood years.

OOC: lol did you lurk on them?

Also, which name do you like best? I'm leaning towards Lemercier, Dumortier, Larue, Leroux and Levesque.

Jolie: She had been exploring the school and had heard Remy talking to Melanie. So he was really doing it. She sighed and continued through the halls. He was moving on. So she would too. No, she could never forget her brother. But that didn't mean that she wouldn't be happy. She and Jean Pierre could get married, even though they were only spirits. They could have a happy afterlife. Maybe Remy would try to talk to her in the future. But probably not. She wanted to guide him though. Maybe, she thought, she could guide other children, when they really needed it. Because of what happened in her life she was so much wiser now, and could help the kids. She hoped this could actually give her a purpose in her afterlife.

OOC: Oh, yes, I wasn't kidding when I said I was bored lol.

Not Leroux, it reminds me of Phantom. Actually Remy sounds good with that one, though...

OOC: I like Leroux, as it sorta hints to his past, as it is similar, but it is different enough from Leroy, which shows that he is moving on. And it's really pretty.

I was at a convention all day, and I will be tomorrow too. It was so fun! Everyone kept wanting to take my picture! I was Crona from Soul Eater.

OOC: I like Leroux, as it sorta hints to his past, as it is similar, but it is different enough from Leroy, which shows that he is moving on. And it's really pretty.

In theatre we're doing a class show that will be a dinner theatre (my character is a French maid named Charlotte), and we heard of this real one that's a masquerade that we're interested in going to, so I suggested to our teacher that the cast goes in costume, adding masks of course, and she liked that idea.

I'm fine with Leroux, lol. Just the first thing that popped into my head was Gaston Leroux.

OOC: It is pretty nice. The one downer is I'm the scaredy cat character so I do lots of screaming.

BUT there has been a few times where I've really screamed - like screamed bloody murder screamed - and I've spooked/scared the crud out of my classmates, which was hilarious every time.

I honestly hadn't thought of that. But I can't ever hear/see/read the name Gaston without thinking of Gaston from Beauty and the Beast.

Should I do that ministry visit during thread or say it happened after the thread like the wedding?

When I first heard the name I thought of that immediately, too.
I think you should have him at least change his name during thread

I'm still not sure whether I should just throw him to the mercy of the foster care system, or actually have him have a connection. I've thought about him becoming Belle's or Luke's younger sibling, but since they're only children and around Jolie's age it completely feels like replacing her and that's totally not the point, the point is for him to move on, and finding a new home is basically just because he's a minor and needs support to get there, so he's definitely not going to be a Smith or a Sullivan. It would be different if it was a multi-child family.

Yeah. I think unless the Minors show interest in taking him in, I'll just have him get a family after the thread ends (I think the only other real multi child family is the Romanovs and he's not a good fit for them)

Yeah. I think I did. And the unconscious changes, the ones you didn't mean to make, are both interesting and annoying.

Yeah, the early days are fun when everyone participates. But the characters that stay on usually end up having solid/strong bonds
