DH and I are thinking of going to HH this summer.

Besides LOTs of hiking, what else is there to do? I found a new thing for a zip line tour and we'll definitely do that.

Is there white water rafting or anything really cool you have to see?

How many days do you think would be enough?

Thanks for any info! I'm pouring over the websites, but I thought I might be able to get some first hand experience from my favorite peoples!

PM believe or shep, I know that they go to Hocking Hills a lot.

I can't help you a I have never been there, sorry.

Thanks for the point in the right direction! :teeth:

Anyone around right now?

I think I've got it sorta figured out now. There's a big family fun center that has rafting, putt putt go carts. So we could spend a day there. A day for the zip line. And then 2 days for hiking. Sound good?

I don't they've posted on the Ya Ya thread in a couple of days.

Your itinerary sounds good!:thumbsup2

Have you ever zip lined before? I haven't - but it looks like fun!

Nope. The zip line's the main attraction for me. It looks great and I don't have to take a cruise to the caribbean to actually experience it!

Logan is only about 3.5 hours from me and we love the hiking and all that stuff so it looks like a great time. We're going to try and get our friends to come with us so that'll make things more fun.

Thanks again Pam!

Your plans sound good. I've never gone to that family center, but it sounds good! I've been to ones north of here though. Don't forget there is also canoeing as well as horseback riding in the area. Hiking is good for a day or so. If you want real world and like antiques, the area between Logan and Lancaster off of 33 is good for that. Particularly in Logan.

I really liked Dead Man's cave, Ash Cave and Conckle's Hollow. There is a nice trail that goes from Dead Man's cave to Cedar Falls and then to Ash Cave.

Last time I was there was for a friend's wedding. I wasn't able to spend much time playing, but the guys did canoeing and that took about a half a day.

btw Pam, you have no room to talk about not posting on the Ya Yas :rolleyes1

And I am totally immersed in this wedding planning stuff!:scared:
