Hockey fans?

Anyone else a hockey fan? If so, which team do you root for?

I love hockey. I haven't had a chance much this season to watch, but now that baseball is over I will hopefully be able to watch more of hockey. My favorite team is the Red Wings. Its so strange not seeing Yzerman out there and someone else with the C, but Lidstrom is deserving of the role. I would have to say that Datsyuk and Zetterberg are my favorite players on the Wings followed by Lidstrom and Kronvall. Of the 3 Wings jerseys I own (Dandenault, Datsyuk, and Yzerman), only one of them is current now.

I'm also a supporter of our local OHL team, the Saginaw Spirit, though I haven't been to one of their games in over a year. We normally go to the opening game, but last year we missed it and they went on such a role and made the playoffs for the first time, we didn't want to jinx it so we didn't go. I hope to make it to one or two games at least this season, especially since one of the players on the team is a Red Wings draft pick. Since we're going to Disney we probably won't be able to go to an away game. We've only been to two away games so far, Plymouth, MI and Windsor, but would love to go to more. London and Toronto would be fun games to go to.

Heck yes! Buffalo Sabres here! Tied the record yesterday! Eventhough it's not really because when the record was set there were no shoot-outs but shhhh!

Our next game will "break" the record when we go 11 and 0!

We're big Sharks fans, but they're playing up and down--can't find a rhythem. We're bummed that we moved to WA state, we don't see as many games (or none!), but we do get CBC and games on Sat. nights

So funny about the Saginaw Spirit, their mascot has something to do with Sthephen Colbert, so his show is always giving updates. So funny! I think they're doing well..

Pens fan as well! It's been a rough couple of years admitting that! I just kept remembering the good old days of the mid-90's and waiting til it was our turn to be on top again! Looks like they've finally figured out how to make things click!

It has been fun watching the Pens again. We've been watching them since 89, so enjoyed the glory years. Do you watch on TV? We really, really miss Mike Lange, can't believe they fired him. They play tomorrow night!!

I used to tune into some of those awful Pens games when they were really struggling purely for the joy of hearing Mike Lange call a game (via NHL Center Ice...the greatest thing EVER). I miss him, too.

I love hockey! I'm a season ticket holder for the Gwinnett Gladiators - an ECHL team. We are an affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers. I guess you can say I'm a Thrashers fan too, but I don't get to as many of there games since they are so much more expensive and its a PITA to go downtown to Philips to watch them. We have Center Ice PPV, so hockey is on our TV every night. \

Bruins Fan here, although it hasnt been easy lately.
The Buffalo Sabres are rolling they look real good.
I was very Impressed with them in the game I watched them play against the B's.

I am totally in love with Marc Messier, he melts my butter. He is totally old school hockey. But...yummy. He lead me to love hockey.

College is more my thing than professional.....though having been born and raised in the Boston 'burbs I will forever be a Bruins fan.
Also love watching local high school, and my young nephew's youth hockey when I can
