Any sewers out there?

I just love those quilted pocketbook/bags and decided I just have to have one. I love that you can wash them and dry them.

Well I priced them and can fork out 60- 80 dollars for what I need.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to custom make one? A pattern number or web site? I want to make one with water proof pouches for camera and cell phones... But the actual bag I need help with. I hope to make one for my April 2008 trip. I have a buxton leather messenger bag but I'm afraid the water rides would do it in! I have a few tote bag patterns but I really am hoping for more of a pocket book one strap across the body bag.

I made the messenger bag from allpeoplequilt.com. Turned out really well and I ended up making one for my daughter and one for my niece.
