I called yesterday to make an ADR for HOB for July and they told me they only take ADRs two weeks in advance.I could have swore that we have made ADRs for there long before then. It is a large group of 11 if that made any difference. Am I having a twilight zone moment or did the CM have it wrong?

Why am I drawing a blank this morning on HOB.. not enough coffee.. A suggestion for you since I am having a moment here, it is sometimes easier to write it out for those of us who are having that moment.. LOL wait, is it House of Blues? If so, I have never eaten there..

Did you call Disney dining? I know I called the actual restaurant only to ask a question and was informed that they couldn't even take reservations at all? I told her I already had a reservatioin I just had a question regarding their shows.

I am SOO looking forward to the HOB....with my family. I have been to Disney probably 15-20 times but never eaten here....a new place and the food looks great!!

When I called Dis dining they gave me the number for HOB since it was larger than 6. This may be where the problem lies. I may try DD again and see if I get a different CM ,since this has seemed to help others on this board.

I tried (back in March)to make a ADR for HOB for our June trip and the CM tried and then told me they couldn't make ADR's for HoB, I would need to call the restaurant/book online thru the HoB website or walk up to the box office.

The CM seemed very surprised about this, she was sure she used to be able to make ADR's there

Have you tried booking online at the HOB website? I did this for a party of 5 in Las Vegas a while back and it worked out perfectly.

Hmmmm........I have a reservation for 7 there for October 11. I booked it on our 180 day mark.
I am now concerned. I guess I should call and confirm.

ETA: I just called to confirm my reservation. They do have it on record. I have Saturday, October 11, 6 PM for a part of 7. We are paying OOP for this, not using the dining plan. The CM I spoke with told me that may make the difference. When she tried to see if she could make a reservation using the dining plan the system would not allow her to do it. She was just doing it to test what I told her. I didn't want to change to a dining plan reservation.

To all who have responded, Good News . After calling DD back today I was able to get an ADR. They broke us up into 2 groups but that is happening at a couple of other places too, so no big deal.

The times we've been there we haven't been able to make prior reservations...we had to go to check in at the podium and wait for a table. Good to see reservations are being accepted now days and the possibility to reserve online? COOL! Will have to try that.

Thanks for the update. I'll have to call back because I was also told they do not take reservation until 14 days prior.
