House of Blues..
Have you ever attended one of the concerts they have--they are held right in the restuarant? Or is it in a seperate area?

Our DS who will be 16 for our next trip loves concerts & if there is something scheduled for HOB while we are there he would like to go.

But I am wondering is it more of a nightclub venue that is not appropriate for teens???

Yes. Once before.

HOB ticketed events are usually held in the concert hall area. It's within the same HOB 'building', but not the restaurant itself. It's to the right hand side, if facing the front entrance.

I would have to call it more of a nightclub venue than a restaurant venue, if I had to pick one or the other to classify it.

I saw Train there. Its not in the restuarant its next door in the night club. It is all open standing room only (there are some seats upstairs but not that you would see anything). When we went we were down the front and it was great. Didn't drink or anything and didn't feel obliged to. It is however a bar so I assume that you have to be over 21 to order drinks but the bar downstairs is on the far wall away from the stage and the best view of the concerts (the dance floor)
