Day 4 Thursday 11th November Armistice Day – French National Holiday.

This was the day I was dreading the crowds as it was a French National holiday.

Up at 7am again, breakfast cereal in our room and at the park for EMH. There were a lot more people then the last two days. We went to Fantasyland first for a few goes on Peter Pan. Then noticed Dumbo was finally working so we had a couple of goes on that. Then a couple of goes on the Tea Cups.

We made our way to Buzz which was much busier then before 5 mins wait and had a few goes and one go of Orbitron. The FP machines were working so we got a FP for Buzz which was for 12:15 to 12:45

Decided we really wanted to due Parachute ride as it had eluded us so far with the rain so went to Studios which was really busy to get in. Fortunately most people seemed to want to queue for Crush which DS and DD are too small for. It was 9:45 and there was about 30 ish people waiting for TSL to open we were almost at the front and as it got closer to 10 more and more people were joining the area. We went to Parachute ride first and we were on the 3rd ride, but it started to rain. Fortunately we managed to get our ride I think this was one of our favourite rides of the trip we loved it.

Back to HNY for breakfast at the Empire Floor. Mickey was there and came to see us for a photo. After a filling breakfast went back to our room and got changed. DS was Peter Pan and DD Snow white today.

Went back to Main Park which was very busy by now despite the fact the weather was rainy, queues, queues and more queue. Went to the exit of SW ride and CM saw that Emily was SW and let us straight on. Went to Peter Pan to do the same and was told to go straight to FP entrance so was allowed to due unlimited FP as James was Peter Pan. Stayed for one ride. Then went to Discoveryland to use our FP for Buzz which worked really well as they were holding people back on the other line at the turnstiles.

Went to see Belle and her prince again.

Casey had been closed all week and it was open, so we lined up. It was raining so DH left the umbrella open over the pushchair to keep it dry. We queued for about 15/20 mins and when we got near the ride the CM was asking for groups of 4 in French to go first, so we put our hands up. Little did we realise we had volunteered to sit on the outside wet bit of the train. So we waited until the next rain so we could sit in the dry, the CM was not very happy, but we did not understand as she had spoken in French. We enjoyed the ride but when we got back to our pushchair someone had stolen our umbrella. :mad:DH was not happy:mad:. I was relieved we had not left any valuables on the pushchair. For the rest of the day we were on the look out for someone with a red and white umbrella.

Decided to go to the Studios to watch CAS at 2:45 as we love that show. It was drizzling so they just did a circuit, but Emily got a big kiss blown from SW so she was happy. Stared to rain hard so decided to line up for a show.

3:15 Watched Anamagicqie which was really great DS had fallen asleep so he sleep right through it.

4pm Saw the characters dance at the DLH, got Donald Ducks autograph. The kids got given Disney Balloons and chocolate coins.

Had another go of SW via the exit.

5pm watched the OUAD parade DS was dressed as Peter Pan so we all booed Captain Hook and the Pirates went they came past. They noticed James and Captain Hook had a pretend sword fight with him and MR Smee and the other pirates came to say hello which he loved. Peter Pan gave him a big wave when he went passed. Emily managed to get a wave and a kiss from SW as well as other princess which she was thrilled.

After the Parade we split up DH took DS back to the HNY for Tea / Supper on the Empire Floor and then for a bath and an early night as he was tired. The lady who turns down the beds and puts the choc coins on the pillows came in and James was very excited to see her put the coins on the pillow. She kindly gave him two extra coins which he was thrilled about.

DD and I had another go of SW via the exit. Then had a wonder to IASW, but it was not working. Everything was heaving so we had another go of SW via the exit.

It was 5/10 mins to 6 so we waited in line for our reservation for Auberge we booked for 6pm which was when it opened and got there about 5.50 there was about 6 family's in front and more then that behind. It was just DD and I and we were led to a table in another room as far away from the dance floor as you can get. I asked for one closer to the dance floor and was told this was just for groups of 4, eventually I was give the choice of 2 tables both were only about 5 meters from the dance floor which was fine as we could see when the dancing started. We meet SW, Cinderella, Suzy, Perla, Aurora and Price Phillip. They spend a long time with us and all came back at least one more time. Both Belle and SW said they would look out for DD during Fantiluision. Dancing was ever 30 mins. It was not that busy about 3/4 full. From around 8pm most people had left and there were just the prince, princesses and mice on the dance floor with DD and one or two other children. DD was showing the princesses her dance steps and danced with Snow White who she was dressed as and Prince Phillip. The princesses left around 8:15/20 to get ready for Fantiluision.

We left at 8:30 as we wanted to watch Fantiluision. When we got out IASW was a walk :cool1:on so we had a quick go before waiting for the parade to reach us as it came from the other way. Emily got her waves from Belle and SW as promised.

Father Christmas was singing and wishing everyone a merry Christmas at the top of Main Street Station. We left the park tired, tummy’s full and happy.

sounds like a great day. we're looking forward to the parachute drop! :cool1:
