HNH Tickets

Hi Raven, they must have been working on the website for some reason when you went because the tickets and price were up 2 1/2 hours ago when I first looked. I even clicked on the FL resident discount a couple of hours ago. They don't have the AP discounts or the express pass prices up yet though.

Ohhh...a Chainsaw wolf t-shirt. I'm envious. Chainsaw wolf works with my son.

Bev

wolf is soooooooo nice.
last year i ordered the t shirt but they weren't ready for delivery before i left. i spent 9 days at disney then went to hrh and stayed 5.

wolfie drove over to my hotel at disney to deliver my tshirt that week. and it made him late for work.
he is a wonderful guy. your son has a good man to work with.

i need to call today and get tickets. thinking one of my cards might help for a discount. if i get one, i will post here. have AAA, fan club card, universal mc, loews first.

i will be back with any 411 i receive.

hi everybody, it's a good day today.........HHN is just around the corner, ok, so it's 10 weeks down the road.

i called the 888 number, press #2 for ticket info over the phone.

the universal employee told me hhn tickets are only available presently on the website. she also said that they (the employees) have been begging to be told when the phone sales will begin.

i was told to call back daily until phone sales begin. she thinks i can get the discount with one of my benefit cards. anyway that goes, i will buy the three nights hard tickets with or without a discount.

i will call again tomorrow at noontime.
of course, i will post any 411 here for all to read.

at first the rumors were ioa only.
screamscape stated something else.

not sure right now but have a hunch part of universal could be open.

how can it be hhn without the mummy and fear factor????

Is it at both parks this year or are we back to just IOA?
Seems like it is definitely IOA + possibly "New York" of Universal Studios if needed (possibly, if used, on peak nights)

Little over two months before HHN! I love going Oct 1st, low crowd levels, but no information to go by. What if a house opens late, hope I don't go there before it opens, :goodvibes and no rumors/info to guide me around. I was the guide of my group of 25 (yep) or more. Went with my class (school) .. was about ~60 of us. They all followed me and listened to what I said, giving them the background and such. Loved every minute of it. This year, going solo with family possibly.

on chainsawwolf board a newbie just posted that they received an email from a universal employee stating that phone sales for hhn will go on sale within a few weeks.

i'm still calling daily anyway........

viewed another post stating hhn definetely in ioa and also in parts of new york section..............

.........eh, do i smell the mummy???

I also went last year on the first Saturday, plan to do the same this year. Crowd levels were ok, still packed by 9pm, waited almost an hour for the last house I went in.

I believe the IOA + New York rumors. They can set it up the same as last year, but instead of having the house all the way at Earthquake (Deadtropolis), it becomes Posidens Fury instead.

i posted here based on what chainsawwolf has on its board.

it's a kewl board, join it and learn lots of inside info.

quite a few of the members work at universal/ioa and have been hired again for this season's HHN.

the first two trips that i took for HHN were the first weekend of october.
this is the time i truly prefer. never had to buy the express pass at that time. this was 4 years ago before hhn grew like we know today.

03 and 04 i went on the secondweek end due to scheduling issues i had.
going again this year for the second week end. had to buy the express pass for the f-s-s times as the crowds were something else.

wish i could swing the first weekend........

another good source for hhn info in advance is screamscape.

In 2003 we went on opening night and it was not crowded at all. I think the longest line we saw was maybe 30 min for one of the houses.
The boys and I loved the houses. Its hard not to jump with people popping out and screaming at you. That has to be the best job :teeth:
This year we wont be there til close to the end of Oct so will probably snag the express pass books.

So the tickets are $59.75 + tax just for HHN and that's not including the day ticket to the park????

Yes. It is a seperately ticketed event. You don't have to pay for the day tickets to go. You can go during the day with a regular ticket but if you intend to stay for Halloween Horror nights you will have to pay $59.75.

It is just like Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween or Mickey's Christmas party. You don't have to be there in the day to go.

Many of us have annual passes and go to the park during the day to get a jump on HHN. But we have to show our HHN tickets in order to stay in the park.

can someone let us know when phone sales begin and the # to call also if annual pass dicount or what other discount is the best thanks

maria

Read on IOACentral:

Annual Passholder rates for HHN:
25.75-Off Peak
37.75-Fridays
47.75-Saturdays

Just call the 1-800 number on the back of your annual pass to order.

I too believe this, though, would assume they would have included Fear Factor Live, but guess it won't be. I'll be there the first Saturday too, what was the longest you waited last year? Did you stay and scream? Finish them all? Thanks :)

50 bucks for Saturday?
Looks like I'm not going this year after seeing that.
And they've decided not to open it the first Sunday, and I'm scheduled to go Oct 1st - 5th, so no HHN 15 this year. :earseek:

It's approx $47 for AP holders on Saturdays, $25ish for off-peak, and $37? for Friday.
