HNH Tickets

I agree, if it is one park .. it should be in Universal Studios.
The Mummy is semi-new and Fear Factor fits into HHN -great- if not perfectly.
If in Universal, they can make the parade happen too. It'll fit perfectly into the 15th anniversary, and even if Fear Factor wasn't there, they could always use the set and use it like the Director thing, where they put bugs on you.

foladar
do you mine me asking what dates in october you will be at hhn?

i will be there the second weekend.

This is driving me crazy! We all can assume when HHN is going to be but I want to buy my tickets.

Do you think they're doing this on purpose, to create hype?

:badpc:

i hear you shark bait 05...............i was ready to buy the tickets a month ago if they had been out.

i haven't seen any hype for universal's 15th year anniversary.
makes you wonder if there will be anything special for it.............

i'm still waiting for the chainsawwolf gang to get info..........
it helped me tremendously for the last two years visits to universal.

i just checked the website again and looks like we are in the waiting mode still.

already booked air, room, bought 5 day passes...............waiting for the next stage for my trip.

no news yet. just called and also checked the website.

eh, there's always tomorrow........

Therreeee's rumors out!!

OK - Now that you've all stewed through the last few posts, I have to
spill the beans.
Very few details but:

1) They are actually going for a little more "mature" theme after the
success of Castle VanPyre last year.
2) All IOA and soundstages.
3) they are going to try to blend the Street/House experience more
this year (I interpret it as less "walk walk... scarezone..walk
walk ...House")
Houses:
1 House in the old Nick soundstages (Demon)
2 in SS 18 (Evil 1, Evil 2)
2 in SS 20 (Blind, Wax (???))
1 in SS 22 (Blood)
1 in Discovery Center (Body)
1 in Thunder Falls (Skool)(I'm assuming that's what TF on the sheet
was)
House rehersals listed for Suess St (That's how it was spelled on the
form) which was said to be more the "bridge" area to the Soundstages,
and POE also

By my count thats 9 Houses plus the two scarezone/house areas

Scare Zones are:
Seuss
POE
Marvel
Lost Continent
Toon
and one listed as Maze

And once again, I have to wait until the middle of August until I get
to find out what I am doing.

Also, seems no parade this year (but some sort of subsitute possibly)
Bill and Ted was also supposely on the sheets
Website due in the next month ish
It's also going to be just IOA + Soundstages (no Universal it seems)

Edit: Also seems a house will be based on "Dusk to Dawn" the movie .. all houses will be "tied" somehow.

there will be a singular theme throughout the park, supposedly with variations on such.

And the Dusk till Dawn house will be in the Disorientorium house spot and called "The Catina"

NOTE: None of these are confirmed, just rumors.

I can't wait either! I'm probably going to get another FF pass like last year. So if anyone is going to be here on an off-peak night, we can have a meet up.

I'm going Oct 1st - 5th, sadly. Gas/hotel is too much to go more than once.

Bumping because the questions have begun again on this forum.

Yep, about 2.5 months until the event, and people are asking about it. Shows just how big it is.

The info usually comes out in September.

hi guys,
last year i bought my hhn tickets on june 20...............

you know this will be the best year.
each year it grows in popularity.

on the other hand, wish it didn't so the parks wouldn't be swamped with people and the on site hotel rates wouldn't be as high.

either way, even if a zillion people showed up for it, i would be in the middle of it.

Another large rumor is out, and something alot of us want to hear.

Do not scroll down if you don't want the rumor ... .. ... ..

The first rumor for the theme of this year's event has come in and they claim the idea is using the working concept of 'The Reunion' that takes place in a small country town. Going along with this theme, they claim to know of at least two haunts this year, one themed to the high school reunion where things have obviously gone very wrong and the other being a haunted coal mine. I suppose that Poseidon's Fury could be turned into a haunted coal mine I suppose... and we've also heard that the Jurassic Park Discovery Center will house another maze as well this year after sitting out last year's event. This source also backs up the story claim that the event may be limited to IOA only during many nights and only expand to limited access of USF (Shrek & Mummy) on peak nights.

And "Topper" who is usually correct from IOACentral has said "the cat is out of the bag .. still a few suprizes. Screamscape is quite correct. The maze might however be larger in JP than first revealed ..."

yea, i read about that rumor on those sites.

i haven't seen it posted here yet, but did read on another site that the hhn might start at 6:30 instead of 7.

looking at the universal site's calender, it list ioa closing at 5 and universal closing at 6.

anyone hear of the earlier opening for this hhn season??

i thought the reunion was what universal called the auditions for hhn 05

didn't screamscape get this wrong?

anywho........still waiting for the ticket sale..........

i have only gone the first two weekends of october for hhn.
they are lighter in crowds i am told than the end of the month.

i don't know if any nights sell out. i would guess it would be nights at the end of the month if they did.

i do know they sold out of the express passes for hhn on the second weekend last year. i had friends that tried to to buy them for the sat. and sun but the limit had already been met.
