hmmmm-intersting offer from WDW via email

So along with all the AP Code brouhaha, it seems Disney is making other offers as well. Just got an email from WDW Travel Planner.

Book a 6 night stay, for a family of 4 of the MYW package (base package) and receive $150 Disney Dollars. Not quite the 7 for 5 deal, but definitely a nice incentive for folks planning a trip anyway.

There is a PIN attached to the email as well.

I was playing around on the travel planning site this weekend, and 'saved' a couple of potential trips, so I wonder if that may have triggered the email?

I was on disneyworld.com, and 'saved' a couple of trips in the travel planning section.

The package did NOT include dining. It was for a family of 4, at a Value, with base MYW package (no hopping, no dining, no plusses, with a hard expiration date) for 6 nights.

I did the same thing Debbie and also got the same e-mail today. I also wondered if it was because I was playing with the packages on the Disney website.

I got it and I haven't been on the Disney website in months. From the looks of the boards tonight, a LOT of people got it. I thought April was busy!

I got it too.... just for April... from what I gather the 1500.00 is the same one they've been advertising for a while now... it's the 150.00 that's the "extra"...

We're going in May - staying offsite .. so we can't use it...

Oh well maybe another time -

I wonder if they hope they'll grab some business and not come out w/general public codes... or maybe April business is just down...

You know, the April thing might make sense. Easter is VERY VERY early this year (last weekend in March) so April bookings may well be a little light, with the exception of April School Vacation here in the NorthEast.

I also took a Disney survey yesterday.....

WHo knows? There is ZERO rhyme or reason to how they send these out methinks. But I would LOVE to be in the direct mail dept for a couple of weeks to find out. I bet it's fascinating.
