Okay, here's the situation.
Myself, dh, ds (baby), my mom, and stepdad are going to be spending a week at ASMo in November. However, mom and stepdad are locals and won't be in the room every night (well, mom might...stepdad will have to leave some nights for work, etc.)...and dh and I might spend a few nights at my sister's house, too. We still want the room for convenience and for the EMH. So here's my question...will all of us be able to go to EMH on the nights we want? :confused3 We are going to explain upon check-in which nights each of us will be there, and if there are ever more than 2 adults we will pay the extra $$, but will they have to keep "switching" room cards or putting on/taking off EMH privileges based on who is staying in the room that night? I guess this is a pretty uncommon issue...I don't know. Seems like we might have to pay for all 4 adults to stay in the room every night if all of us want to do EMH...but we aren't even sure yet which nights people can do EMH or stay over in WDW due to work obligations. Ack. We aren't trying to scam Disney out of anything...after all, we don't NEED a room onsite, we just want to try it out and see if the EMH will be worth it for next time. If this is too complicated, we might just cancel our reservation. What do people think? If it helps, mom and stepdad live about 20 minutes from WDW without traffic so commuting IS a reasonable possibility. Should I call CRO now, or will they think I'm insane? Thanks.

I believe that you have to have the tickets in your name. The ticket goes with the bearer, not the room, and the bearer will need to be a resort guest to enter EMH. Does that answer the question? The tickets are not transferable. If you want to switch who's in the room, you will most likely need to make separate reservations, which means you'll not likely get the same room. Pretty sure they won't play roulette with the guest list like you suggest. But hey, other than really confusing the CRO, what harm is there in calling and asking?

It sounds like it will be easier to just have the four of you & the baby register in the room. You will keep the same room & not have to worry about who has an active resort key each day.
