Hmm, can I trust JCP to get it right?

I'm trying to order swimsuits on jcp.com and use a code. Now when I try to check out the sale prices show on the side but not in the total. After entering the code it says that the discount, shipping, and total cannot be determined right now but that they will charge your credit card correctly.

Anybody done this and had it turn out right? I sure would like to know the total before putting it on my card!

I had this happen on my last JCP order. I called and it was something about a system update (Translation: it's broken, and we hope they figure out how to fix it soon). It shipped in a reasonable length of time, the discount was properly applied and the shipping was reasonable (but higher than I would have guessed - $15 on $120)

I wouldn't touch that one at all!! Too many things can go wrong, and you'd be stuck. Kinda like mailing a signed blank check and trusting someone who you've never even met to be honest and mistake free.....

Might be a hassle, but can you screen shot the page with the correct prices, and IF it doesn't turn out correctly you could dispute it. I can ask an expert though. My dh works in JCP's internet division!

Well I went ahead and ordered quick as I didn't have a lot of free time and the sale ended yesterday. I printed the screen where the sale prices showed on the left, but a price in between sale and regular price was showing where it adds it up. I left a note in the space provided to make sure they used sale price and my discount code.

I just now got a call from JCP advising that the sale prices were used and she read them off to me, and that my $20 off purchase was applied. So it turned out!
