HM & POTC for 4yo?

POTC isn't scary at all. My 5yo DD was a little anxious about HM, but wasn't terrified or anything. We played up the "silly ghosts" angle and she was okay. We also warned her about the stretching room beforehand, that it gets dark and people might scream but it's okay.

My DGD 4 was a little scared in POTC so we did not make her ride HM. We made it through the elevator then went out a side exit before the ride.

Ds is 4, was first on those rides at 6 months. He now can sing the haunted mansion song from start to finish (actually he could at 3) and he calls it his "spooky kooky house". Loves them both. Also did TOT at age 3, we just told him he was jumping like tigger... One ride was all he would do though but he willingly got on again at age 4 to be a super high bouncer like tigger!

When we went in May my youngest was just turning 3 and my oldest had just turned 5. My youngest is afraid of everything, and she rode both with no major issues. This is the same girl who wont go trick or treating at houses with scary decor lol. The Haunted Mansion didn't scare her...the stretching room seemed to creep her out, so I just held her. And when she started to seem uneasy about the ghosts I told her how happy they were and she loved seeing them dance. Now she says it was her favorite ride and can't wait to go back in September!
