My daughter will be about 21 months when we hit the world for 2 weeks. She HATES HATE HATES her push chair and just wants to walk EVERYWHERE!! After a while of walking she gets tired and comes up to Mummy and goes "up, up" with her arms stretched out! We are going to take her pushchair for sure as she will have late nights and naps in the day. I just dont want to have to walk around the parks with an empty pushchair until she need a nap. I really dont want to wear her in the connecta as we will both me boiling. Can i leave the pushchair anywhere until we need it. I dont mind holding her when she wants to come up every so often. Anyone know of any king of sling that will support her on my hip (if there is even such a thing!?)

Thanks in advance!

There is stroller parking scattered throughout the parks, so you can leave the stroller and come get it when you need it. Be prepared to search for it, though, as cast members rearrange the strollers constantly. Maybe tie a bright scarf of something to it so it's easy to spot in a sea of other strollers.

Hope you have a great trip!

1. I used a ring sling in lines for rides when my son was that age(ish). He was too heavy for me to carry all the time at that point, but the ring sling helped support him on my hip for shorter periods of time.

2. My son was a walker, too. Until Disney. Remember, at their level, all they see are the backs of peoples legs. My son seemed to tire of that VERY quickly and didn't mind his stroller so much (especially when going longer distances, not just from ride to ride that may be next door to one another).

3. Yes, there are places to park it for a long while, but be aware it might get moved and don't leave anything valuable in it (just in case). I'd at least suggest moving it from "land" to "land" with you.

My oldest was 15 mo old on her first trip. She also loved to walk and move and hated to sit. It was a struggle to get her in the stroller at first but after a few rides when she realized we would get to the next ride quicker if she sat.

We did let her walk, heck she pushed her stroller about 1/2 way around Epcot.

You can definitely park the stroller at different locations throughout the park, but if she needs it and it's parked, you're kind of out of luck. You might consider bringing the stroller and a baby carrier if that would help. My son was only 3 the first time we did DLR, and he hated being strapped into a stroller too. I made a deal that if he stayed put when we were walking around, he could get out anytime he saw a character or something he wanted to explore as long as he said "Mama stop please!" I didn't strap him in, so he had the freedom to jump up and run to his favorite character (with me, of course) when he saw them.

I carried my son until he was four on hikes when he got tired.....piggyback support, etc. Easy on hip. Worth every penny. But I would get her used to it before the trip.
