We're going to be at WDW in a little over a month (Yay!), time to work out some more details! I'm seeing in my DDP info that BOG is quick service for breakfast and lunch, and that advance reservations are offered. How is BOG, and is it necessary to make a reservation? What are some of your favorites at MK, HS, and Epcot for a fairly large family, kids ranging from 17 down to 5?

Bog is very good. I would say a reservation is essential, because it's quite unlikely that you'll be able to just walk up- even for quick service. However my favorite quick service in magic kingdom is sleepy hollow because I love the waffle sandwiches

I love Yorkshire County Fish Shop in Epcot. Very good Fish and Chips and the sponge cake you can get for dessert is very good too!! I can't eat all of it though. Last year my niece and I split the meal.

MK - Pecos Bills. I'm actually not fond of BOG, the food is just o.k. to me and it's way too overpriced for just o.k. food.
HS - Backlot Express
AK - Yak and Yeti
Epcot - Anywhere in WS other than Germany or Italy. I enjoy Tangeriene Cafe and Yorkshire Fish Shop the most but am perfectly happy with the QS in Mexico, Chica, Japan and France as well. I'm not fond of Sunshine Seasons, it is a bit too crowded and noisy for my taste especially when there are so many other options at WS.

MK - Columbia Harbor House or BOG if you don't mind paying TS prices for a QS meal that is good but nothing spectacular. Yes, ADR is required for lunch. If you haven't been yet, go at least once for the experience.

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons; Tangierine Cafe (Morocco); Yorkshire Fish Shop (UK, Fish & Chips only & outdoor seating only); Kringla Bakeri (Norway & covered outdoor seating); Taste Track for gourmet grilled cheese (outdoor standing tables only)

HS - Backlot Express for indoor seating but the new stands at Echo Lake have gotten really good reviews (outdoor standing tables only)

AK - Flametree BBQ (Haven't tried Harambe Market yet though)

The hubs and I liked the Yorkshire Fish Shop when we were there in 2012. Darn Disney website isn't working for me right now-I want to check out menus!

Hmmm, best/favorite QS eateries?
In our opinion . . .

Parks:
. . . EP:...Sunshine Seasons (FW)
. . . EP:...Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe Entrée Menu (WS)
. . . MK:...Columbia Harbour House
. . . AK:...Flame Tree (good ribs)
. . . HS:...Backlot Epress
. . . BB:...Lottawatta Lodge
. . . TL:...Typhoon Tilly's
. . . DS:...Wolfgang Puck Express

Resorts:
. . . DEL:...Capt Cook's at Poly
. . . MOD:..Sassagoula Flatworks at POFQ
. . . VAL:....Landscapes of Flavor at Ao

MK- Columbia Harbor House
Epcot- Tangerine Cafe/Sunshine Seasons
AK- Yak & Yeti (but stay away from the Sandwiches, they are gross!)e
HS- ???? ABC commissary is constantly slightly above mediocre. The Asian Salad is by far and the away the best thing they have. They also have a New York Steak for 11.99, not quite sure what an 11.99 a WDW quick service steak would be made of!

For those that are suggesting Pecos Bills is this after their menu change last year or whenever it was? They were one of my favorites and always a must do but the menu now doesn't look as appealing.

They also have a New York Steak for 11.99, not quite sure what an 11.99 a WDW quick service steak would be made of!
Assuming it is the same one we ordered at the America Pavillion in Epcot it was a super duper thin cut. I assumed sirloin. It was ok probably less than I should've expected for $12 but definitely thin!!!

Cosmic rays plenty of seating get away from the crowd , air condoning get away from the heat and the have a fixing bar basically a fast food place

I agree with many of the recommendations already listed and would like to add Les Halles Boulangerie et Patisserie in France at Epcot.

MK - Columbia Harbor House (a lot of variety)
Epcot - Sunshine Seasons (lots of delicious, healthy choices!)
AK Flametree Barbeque (huge portions)
DHS ABC Commissary (not a huge menu, but the Asian Salad is really good)

Haven't tried BOG yet, but I think we'll try it for lunch during our next visit next year! :)

OK here are my pics:

MK - Colombia Harbour House and BOG for lunch. Don't forget Sleepy Hollow, Plaza Ice Cream Parlour and Aloha Isle for some yummy snacks.

EP - Sunshine seasons and the QS in all of the world showcase: my favourite being the fish and chips at The Yorkshire Country fish shop, or some Bratwurst at Somerfest. Don't forget to try all the drinks and snacks located in each country. They are all so yummy!

AK - FLame Tree BBQ hands down. Nothing beats their BBQ chicken and Ribs.

DHS - Backlot Express: I like their galactic chicken salad and their chicken and waffles. I
Especially like the Star Wars shape of waffles. However I prefer the sit downs in the park for much better food. 50's Prime time has good food and a cool theme.

MK:
-Pecos: wins for newest, also the toppings bar has free and unlimited guac. I like to get the burrito here!
-CHH: usually our go to because it has the healthiest options, grilled salmon & veggies, tuna sandwich, etc

DHS

-Pretty limited now, esp with Pizza Planet closed
-ABC is my next choice honestly, food's pretty basic, but they have a couple of healthier nicer options on the menu that rotate in and out with each other. Quality is good, and there's lots of seating
AK
-Yak & Yeti QS: lots of different options, though most of the Asian ones are your typical food court chinese food fried & smothered in sauce.
-Flame Tree, tons of different options, lots of choices, half rack of ribs, 1/2 a chicken good sandwiches

EPCOT:
-Best options all around!
-Sunshine Seasons, amazing breakfasts, croissiont bread pudding, fruit & cheese plates, etc. Meals are delicious, lots of variety, healthier choices
-UK fish and chips!
-France's Bakery: delicious treats and baguette sandwiches! Also great salads but they're on the pricier side!
-Morocco: LOVE the platters, healthier, something different, authentic styled food!
-Japan: great dishes, LOVE the seating area, good quality, amazing cm's. Food is sterotypical plates, but amazingly delicious!

In case you couldn't tell, we're not a burgers and fries type group, we like to have variety and we like to have something that's a bit healthier than your average theme park faire!

Here are our favs-

MK- Pecos Bill's (since the menu change)

EP- Sunshine Seasons, Yorkshire, Les Halles, La Cantina de San Angel

AK- Flame Tree

No favs in DHS.

MK - Casey's Corner/Pecos Bill's

EP - Sunshine Seasons, Morroco (if you like Greek/Mediterranean food)

AK - Always eat at Flame Tree BBQ (some of the best BBQ at WDW)

HS - No great options, but ABC Commisary is inside (air conditioning.)
