I don't know your exact dates, but I just plugged in some 'generic' dates and yes, it is available for the Jackson to Orlando route as well as the other way. It's $54 for the dates I checked (Monday 10/22, Thursday 10/25, Thursday 10/18).

First of all, thank you so much for your help yesterday! I got $59 tickets . I have a question though. When will the DINGS start coming for November? I'm returning on Nov 3rd and need to start watching closely.

I purchased the return tickets from Orlando to Houston for $89. I noticed you put a post earlier for $79. How can it be changed? Will there also be any cancellation fees?... Not sure how this works.

Does anyone know--do they tend to release the DINGs about 8 weeks out? Since they are now up to Oct 31st that's what I thought possibly. I'm NEEDING a DING for early February! I cannot pay $1200 for airfare for 4! The DING for today had Columbus to Orlando for $655 for 4 but it's for travel dates before Oct 31--not what I need!

Oh, it's way too early for a February Ding. Possibly late December or early January.
But even if you purchase a ticket, if a Ding comes up, just click on the flights you want, make sure they're available for you, then call SW and get a reservation person on the line, give them your old confirmation number and tell them you want to cancel that flight and after she cancels it you go to purchase the new flight and hit apply ticketless funds, put in the old confirmation number and they take the money to pay the new flight and put any money left over in your "bank" to pay for a future flight within a year. I've done this several times now.

If you travel a lot using SW then yes you could just book your Ding and cancel your other flight. You then most likely (some fares you can get a CC refund) you will receive a credit for up to 1 year from purchase (not travel) date. They also on occasion extend that but don't always count on it.

What I do for my family of 3 is book ONE-WAYS only this way if you get a DING you can cancel that part of the flight without risking the other part increasing. Then book the Ding with the credit number. If it's a big savings then you can use that as your next Ding comes up as well.

I open 2 windows go all the way on the canceled flight right up to the point of canceling.

Then in the second window I book the Ding right up to paying ( if this takes to long you might lose your Ding fare they go fast).

I then confirm the cancel you get a credit number.
Then go back and put the credit number in to pay for the Ding.

I have this to under a minute and have not been shut out yet. I have heard of people canceling in flight only to find the Ding is no longer available and their flight went from a $120 to $49 (Ding ) to $270 only fare left in about the 5 minutes it took them to see the Ding go and cancel their flight and try to get back to the Ding.
