Historical weather for specific dates?

Can anyone direct me to a site of historical weather on specific dates in the last few years. For example, if I want to know what the max and min temperatures were on January 3, 2001 and how those compared to the normal temperatures for those days. where would I look. Tried all the weather links on Deb Wills site, couldn't find that info (not saying it's not there, just couldn't find it). Can anyone help?

That accuweather site has just the type of information I want, but I want one (if it exists) that will go back for 2 or 3 years. Is there any such thing?
