Historical rate info for July

Hi Camping Experts

I am planning a trip to Florida this summer (Yikes) and will be spending 5 days at the end of July. Is there usually some kind of passholder discount or other discount for this time period? Booked a preferred site for $67 today, hoping for better.

Sorry, but I probably wouldn't hold out much hope for discounts in July. Discounts are generally used to attract business during slow periods; July isn't slow.

This year Disney even created a fifth pricing season for Fort Wilderness because they were attaining high enough occupancy rates to support higher prices.

But, keep looking - something may pop up. Keep checking www.mousesavers.com Mary keeps up with most discounts.

I reserved a full-hookup site for early/mid July approximately two months ago, and the daily rate was in the low $40's. I am struggling to remember what type of discount I rec'd (maybe AAA?)

We also went last July and had a significantly discounted rate. I will try to check my reservation and give it some thought to see if I can definitely determine how I got the discount and will post or PM Kaitysmom later.

We have rec'd Florida resident rates, AP, and come back rates for July but I have not seen any general discounts. Hope you find something. The rack rates are a little hard to swallow. Especially if you are used to $12-$15 a night at very nice state parks.

We have an annual pass so I am really hoping that AP rates are offered again. I have paid full price in February, but really hoping I won't have to in July too! FW is awesome though. Can't wait!
