historical park hours question

Going in Oct 2014 - have put off planning til now because it was just too soon, but want to start thinking about it so ready for ADR's, etc.

I have found historical park hours by date, but does that take into account the change in days from year to year? For example, I would assume a weekend would have later hours, but what if 10/1 last year was a Thursday and this year a Saturday? Wouldn't that make a difference, rendering historical park hours useless?

Thanks for your help, I can't wrap my head around this one.

Not necessarily. Look at it from a day of the week perspective instead of a physical date. Compare yearly park hours for, say, every Monday of a certain month and forget the actual dates for those Monday's.

Just be on the look out for floating holidays like Easter and Thanksgiving.
