Starting to plan a January 1-8,2005 trip..(suprise for the DD's, they'll find out christmas morning)..

We were there in April, and stayed at ASmovies, loved it...but this time I'd like to move up to a deluxe, for nothing more than it's a family christmas present...

What historically have been offered for codes in April for Deluxes? I can't see paying the 199.00 per night rack rate for those dates, but a bit cheaper I'd do it.

Thanks!

Brandy

Are you asking about January or April - you mention two months in your query

thanks

I bumped it because I would like an answer as well.
I can say that if I were you, I wouldnt start on January 1st, because your whole pricing is based on your start date, and I think Jan 1st is still peak, so you will pay peak rates for the whole stay. If you wait a day or two until value season starts, you will pay alot less per night.

January 1st is the start date of the value season for deluxe resorts. In the past we have stayed at the GF for $199 so I would imagine some of the others were less with an AP. Of course this doesn't mean disney will definitely discount, but we are hoping. One thing to consider is that you may have to split your stay to get a special discount. We are going 1/1 - 1/10 but figure most will not leave from the holiday until 1/2. I am planning to have one reservation for 1/1 - 1/2 then another for 1/2 - 1/10 if need be.

The stay is in January- we were just there in April....hence the mention of both months.

I wont pay 199 for a deluxe in january- as january 1st is value...and theres no way I'll pay rack rate...not gonna happen....

I guess I can always call and see what they tell me....now...where's that 800# I got when I bought my passes in March.....

Ill let ya know what i find

Brandy,
When we paid $199 for the GF rack rate was about $330, so it was a discount. We have paid as low as $125+tax for the less expensive deluxes like the WL and AKL during value season. Last time we stayed at the AKL we paid $175 including tax for a savannah view. In my experience the Poly is somwhere in the middle, not really sure about the others. Hope this helps. I am sure if you could specify which deluxe you are interested in someone could tell you historic prices.
