Any locals or Williamsburg travel experts here on the DIS?

I am looking at Greensprings and Kings Creek.
I am leary of the Wyndham properties.

I am leaning towards Greensprings.
I hear that while Kings Creek is nice, their beds are HARD.

I know that there are nicer places in the area, but given that we will use my inlaws time share week for exchange, which RCI resort is better.

Thanks!

A shameless bump, just in case.....

I have done a little more research, and I think we will go with Greensprings.

The 'cottage' units at King's Creek seem really neat, kind of 'quaint'. But, after looking further, the floor plans are kind of wierd.... The one type of two bedroom that has it's own private deck/patio has the living area on the upstairs and the bedrooms are downstairs. Also, the bigger bath is the third bedroom, which is actually a lock-off mini-suite. It is the one with the deck, the larger whirlpool tub, etc.. So, two bedroom units get kind of screwed? :confused3 I don't think that there is any guarantee that we would get a unit in the Towns or Estates sections.

I think that most units at Greensprings have had some renovation. They are reported to have comfortable beds. And, they have a nice big (leather???) recliner in the living room that my husband will appreciate. Their units seem more open, with more windows. We might brave the stairs to get an upstairs unit with the raised/cathedral ceiling. (also, no noise from upstair neighbors/kids)

If anyone here has any other input, it is still much appreciated!

We stayed at Greensprings a few years ago and really enjoyed ourselves there. Our two bedroom unit was very nice. The place was convenient to just about everything. There was a grocery store not too far away that was good. The pool area was very nice at the resort. Our unit overlooked the golf course. Our unit was a bit of a walk to the pool. The area was nice & quiet at night. It was a bit of a drive to the attractions, but not too bad at all. Enjoy your trip.
