Hiring help for children in parks?

Just curious - If we wanted to hire a babysitter/nanny to assist us in the theme parks with our children, is there a company that provides this service?

We have 3 kids - Twin 2 year olds, and an 8 year old. It would be nice to have a bit of extra help in the park, and be able to take our odlest on certain rides together.

Anyone ever done this or know anything about it?

Fairy Godmothers will do it, I know. I don't know if Kids Night Out will, but probably. You have to pay the usual fees, plus buy a park ticket for the babysitter.

We brought our nanny from home with us and that worked well. It was nice having someone we knew and knew the kids help us out. Might think of that as an option.

That's what we are doing this upcoming trip. Granted, we are bringing her as a thank you and not as a working vacation, but I know if we needed her help, she would pitch in no question!

How about hiring someone to sit in the room one evening - collect fastpasses in the morning, use them at night. I have twins, and I can't imagine them not screaming if DH and I got in line with another child, and they were left with a stranger, over and over.

Your best bet is to bring along someone from home. An older cousin, a trusted babysitter, a godchild, or teenage child of a friend all make great traveling companions for kids.
We have taken our 17 y/o goddaughter with us on vacation before. The deal is we pay her way completely, as if she was our child. We even gave her a bit of pocket money each day. In exchange she babysits in the evenings, and takes the kids on rides and basically is an extra set of hands when needed. It's great all around!

We bring my Mom!

My kids are older now so the baby swap isn't an issue anymore, but when it was my youngest would always sit with grandma while we went on the rides with my oldest. The kids get the added benefit of vacations with grandma, and my mom gets the fun of vacationing at WDW with her grandchildren. Its a win-win situation for us, but of course it depends on what kind of relationship you have with your parents.

Kids Nite Out does provide that service.
It gets kind of pricey because you also have to purchase a park ticket for them.
That was a deal breaker for us.
We opted to leave them in the room with the sitter and go to the Park alone one evening.

That is so funny that you mentioned this! When we were in WDW this past May I told my husband that he could just leave me there and I would Nanny for park guests while they are on vacations :) that would be an awesome business to start:) I know we could have used some extra hands this last trip to WDW.

PS) I will nanny for you... Pick me:)!!!

When I worked at a high school, one of my students was hired by her neighbor to go to WDW on a "babysitting mission."

If you have a trustworthy teenage or college age family member, friend, or neighbor I'm sure they would appreciate the free trip to WDW in exchange for babysitting and helping out.

I teach high school. I know that many of my kids would jump at the chance to see WDW as part of a "working vacation."
