Hire Car help ?? please

Hi we are staying at BC and havent got a car booked because we will be using magical express from the airport, and disney transport for parks. We would like to hire a car for a few days (maybe 3 or 4) of our holiday though, to do seaworld, aquatica and shopping. Does anyone have any experience of hiring? a good company? and competative prices? also it will need to be big enough to seat 9 people (4 adults & 5 kids) can anyone help me please thanks

You need to decide where you want to collect from, Disney Car Care centre would be Alamo so need to find an Agent who provides their cars from that location.
Wyndham (formerly Regal Sun opp DTD) provide Dollar cars.

Would you know before you go what dates you want? if you pre-book you pay approx half desk price. If you don't pre-book in UK are you taking a laptop? book online before you collect. Even if you are an expert negotiator you will still pay approx double locally.

I believe smallest for 9 people is a 12 seater

If you're staying at the BC, you can walk next door to the Dolphin where there is a National and Alamo rental counter. They are also at the Car Care Center near the MK. There are other rental companies nearby that are either within walking distance of DW or you can arrange to have their shuttle pick you up.

We used National at the Dolphin because we were staying at the Boardwalk. The counter hours are shorter than at the CCC (something like 8-5), but drop off was great. We returned it to the valet late at night who gave us a receipt.

Our experience with hiring a car at the Dolphin was very positive. It's so quick and easy, although I would also advise booking before you leave home.
