Just subbing in real quick and then heading back to read your PTR up to now!

Christmas is a great time to go. The place is decorated nicely, and the weather is much nicer than the middle of the summer. I don't know if I could hack the heat in August, hopefully you get some good weather.

Boy let me tell you.... When we were there last September, it was the HOTTEST trip we were experienced while at Disney, so as long as it is not hotter then that I can handle it! But in all honesty, like you said, I prefer Disney around Christmas time and the fall is a close second.

Boy let me tell you.... When we were there last September, it was the HOTTEST trip we were experienced while at Disney, so as long as it is not hotter then that I can handle it! But in all honesty, like you said, I prefer Disney around Christmas time and the fall is a close second.

This will be our second trip around Christmas time. I think I want to see the park decorated for Halloween next, or maybe a visit to Disneyland. Or better yet, combine them both for a long weekend.

I absolutely love it in the fall!!! MNSSHP hands down is my absolute favorite event at Disney!!! It blows the Christmas party out of the water. We been to Disney in the fall 2x now and think we will most likely go that time next year again... This trip in December will be our 2nd time going during the holidays!

Hey all! So I just wanted to stop by and give you a quick update on our upcoming trips...

August Trip:

I am pretty much good to go for this trip. I have everything that I need to go and even made a payment towards the room yesterday even though the final payment is not due to the day we check in w/a room only reservation. The only thing that I have to really do, which I am counting on you all to remind me is to make a copy of Devon's birth certificate, which is needed to redeem his GAD voucher. Without it I am screwed!

Also, we have a reservation at Raglan Road, but Devon really wants to eat at T-Rex, which is cool with both my brother and I, but there is no reservation times left available! So my thoughts are to keep the reservation I have at Raglan Road @ 6:45p and try to do a walk up at T-Rex when we first arrive at DTD around 5p. I figure even if it is a wait, its cool b/c we weren't planning to eat till later anyway. So needless to say our dinner plans for Saturday night are up in the air!


Now for the December Trip:

No big changes here other then the fact that we are seriously thinking of adding at least 2 more days in park passes to our reservation! We had originally only planned to do 6 days in the park, but now that we arrive so early on the 3rd and Toni is twisting my arm to come and drink around the world for my birthday that evening, I think we may just be going to Epcot on the 3rd! Also, we had planned to go to Universal on Wed the 8th, but not sure if that is going to happend now that we are going there in a few weeks. I have the annual passes for Universal, but now Jen is not sure she wants to fork over the $200+ for their tixs. Can't say I blame her! So it looks like there may just be few changes to the itinerary between now and then! I'll keep you posted....

I'm so glad you got the Trex reservation. Have you eaten there? We LOVED it when we went in 08. I'm debating going again this trip because O loves dinosaurs so much, but not sure if I want to pay OOP since we'll have the dining plan.

I know I seriously have to make the copies now!!! I say it every night going to bed and every morning I forget the darn thing to make a copy of while I'm at work!!!

I cancelled my ADR's at Raglan Road today! Sorry! Both my brother and I are picky eaters and were worried about the food selection there but we wanted to eat somewhere other then Rainforest Cafe or Planet Hollywood since we have eaten there in the past. So now its T-Rex for dinner!!!

I love all the updates to your plan for December! Thats great that you are adding 2 days to your park tickets! I love Epcot so I'm excited you are adding another day to go there! And how fun will your birthday be meeting Toni for drinks!!!

I'm so glad you got a ressie at T-Rex. I wanted to eat there soooo badly in June but there weren't any openings. I will definitely remember that little tip for the future...call the restaurant directly! I can't wait to hear all about the food & experience there and see your pictures!

Hey Linds! Hope all is well!!! I am super excited to be adding the 2 extra days in December!!! I feel like we will be able to accomplish everything we want to in each park at a leisurely pace now!

Yes, I think I am going to do the wine walk on my birthday in Ecpot. Basically You get to sample 6 different pours from Italy, France and Germany for like $20!!! We'll see!

Devon was so excited when I told him I was able to get ressies at T-Rex! It's the perfect place for a boy his age. Hope it lives up to all the hype! I will definitely let you know my thoughts when we get back!

Would you believe I even had people texting me this morning and still forgot the darn thing!!! In my defense it was b/c I was running late! I take the train into the city and I can't miss the 8:14a train b/c the next one does not come till 9! But thank you so much for the reminder. When I saw your post, I set a reminder on my phone to get it for tonight! So have you gotten to the point in your PTR telling us when you are going on where you are staying. Got an idea based on your ticker, but want to see if we are going to be there the same time!!!

After that I will get into the Early Plans. Where are we staying, when are we going. Which doesn't quite coincide with the actual plans. I could probably write them all and post them, but then my PTR would be done in one day, and that's no fun. I should have the next edition up soon. I am about to leave work, and will post it when I get home.

Matter to fact I had to drive to Altoona (right outside of State College) in May for my cousin's wedding and literally cried at one point going and coming! I know I'm a wierdo, but I hate being in the car for more then 2 hours!

Other then going to the wedding and having a blast!!! My favorite part of the whole darn trip was my frequent stops at the Super Sheetz!!! I LOVE THAT PLACE!!!

So I see you will be there in Dec too... When you going??? Where ya staying? You have a PTR going?

I guess you won't be visiting TinkerTam any time soon.

Nothing against Tinker Tam, but I hope I never have to make that drive again!
