Do you need to check-in for ME? Where do you do it? Where do you go to catch the bus? TIA

I think POP needs a 45 minute notice for the bellhop to fetch any baggage you had stored with him. At any rate it is a good idea to aim to be back at the resort, any resort, an hour before bus time.

Note that the bus time on your confirmation is the departure time. You should be ready, baggage and all, 10 to 15 minutes before. If you did not get your confirmation and have vouchers by morning the day before check out, get it (them) on said morning prior to going off to the parks.

No formal check in for ME going home is needed unless your airline participates in and you wish to use Remote Airline (baggage) Checkin.

As long as you have your reservations all made with DME, you shouldn't have any problems. There will be a note left under/on your door the day before you are scheduled to leave the resort. It will tell you the DME departure time...usually about 2 3/4-3 hrs before your flight departure time. Be at the stop about 15 minutes before the departure time...they depart right on time, no room for error. If you have left bags with the luggage people, be sure to leave 20 or so minutes to retrieve them...there is usually a line at the luggage area. The DME pick-up area is right out in front of POP's main entrance, under the portico type area, just in front of the luggage area. It is very well marked.

There's actually no place at ANY resort to check in for DME, no matter what airline you're using. Just be at the right place at (actually before!) the right time.

Resort Airline Check-in is for luggage only (and only for participating airlines) and has NOTHING to do with using or catching the DME bus.

You pick up your return DME bus at the same location in the resort that DME drops you off at. The driver, or a CM by the bus stop, will actually "check you in" by collecting your voucher when you board the bus.

DME also uses DCL and even Mears buses. If you see a bus looking for passengers ask if it's the DME BUS even if the bus doesn't have the DME markings.
