Hint of things to come for drones in the Illuminations replacement?

I saw this video and immediately thought of the applications that Disney has made for drone use in the rumored replacement show for Illuminations.

It looks awesome to me. Disney could do a ton with this.

Since they are silent, maybe some nice additions to ROL or TOL as well, even floating around Avatar/Pandora.

I don't know how logistically that could work. You'd have kids breaking them all the time.

I don't think they are silent. Also, one of the big hangups was that Disney was having to affirm that they'd never be floating over guests. In fact, I think they were to be at least 100 yards away from shore at all times, such that if they failed, they'd be most likely to just go in the water.

Yea those are just showing what was in Pandora, I don't mean drones will land on kids arms. Drones can be programmed to hoover wherever you want, maybe over the building of Avatar so its safe, bur clearly visible and looking like they are over the Floating Mountains.

Illuminations as well, just since they are "basically" silent (unlike fireworks) they could be integrated into AK without disturbing the animals but adding a lot of light.

They will get safer and smaller and brighter every year.

Drones have flown over the illuminations show in the past few months. I've posted about it previously in the news round up board. I still see them form time to time doing their flyovers.
