Hint! Booking during Free DDP!

Helpful hint I thought I would share....

I tried booking Chef Mickey's yesterday during September 2-9th with no luck! However, the CM kindly mentioned that she would check if they were doing lunch that week! And sure enough, Chef Mickey's is doing lunch on that week and we got in (party of 5) with no problem.

So... to anyone who was told no for a dinner reservation at a place that they normally do NOT have lunch, ask if that restaurant is specially offering lunch during Free DDP time. Not all CMs may know....

Hint worked out fine for me. I had a hard time getting a bf or dinner ADR. The only thing they had left was bf at 7 am (which I think is to early getting in from a different resort and with me not being a morning person ) or dinner at 9 pm on the day of arriving. I took the latter, but was worrying about being able to make it with either the plane coming in late, me being to tired from the long flight (intercontinental) and rather preferring to relax on the first day and hang out a bit a DTD and the resort.

So after reading this I called and changed the ADR to a lunch later during the trip. No problem at all, I could pick date and time. The CM told me it was offered for 9-1/9-8 and from 9/16 -?? (didn't hear that ending date as it doesn't concern me anyway with leaving again on the 12th)

They vary by restaurant. You'll have to call to find out. You should not even go by the official times listed on the menues at Allears or on this board, because times have been extended to accomodate free dining.
