Hilton @ Walt Disney ?

I have made reservations to stay at the Hilton on Disney property. I am not quite sure how this works, if it is a Disney Hotel (since it is a Hilton) or what. Any advice, opinions or feed back would be great.

If you're referring to the Hilton that is across from DTD than I stayed there a couple of years ago. It's a really nice hotel with a great view of DTD. You just walk across the street and you're there! I've read that it's the only hotel in the DTD area that has EMH at Disney.

It is not a Disney resort, it is a Downtown Disney resort which is on a different transportation system. Even though it is on Disney property it is not treated like a Disney resort.

I believe you have to pay for parking in the theme park lots if you choose to drive. However the Hilton is the only DTD resort that is included in EE. Package delivery is also available as well.

Ok we have decided that the Hilton is not an official Disney Hotel but they get some of the same privileges. My newest question is Hilton guests get to go in early and stay late, they have a shuttle to the parks but are you allowed to use the other Disney transportation once you are at the parks? For instance if we go to Magic Kingdom and want to leave and go to MGM or we have reservations at the Contemporary for breakfast?

Yes, we stayed there and it was nice. You do get to go early,stay late...but you do pay for parking at the parks if you drive...at least that is how it was when we went They did have transportation...but I didn't use it. not too sure about getting park to park or resort...I have to drive everywhere myself. You should be able to use the disney transportation site to site...
