Has anyone stayed at the Hilton Suites on State College Blvd. If so could you tell me about the shuttle and if breakfast is included. Also any info on the hotel or restaurants in or around the hotel would be appreciated.
Thanks

We just returned from a 6-night stay at the Hilton Suites. We have stayed there every June for the last 4 years. We were disappointed this year. They discontinued the free made-to-order breakfasts in November. We have paid as low as $89 (which included breakfast!) but this year we paid $134. There is no room service for lunch, only bkfast & dinner; there is a little gift/pantry shop in the lobby with outrageously expensive snacks (like a Ben & Jerry's ice cream bar for 4.95!).

The shuttle leaves for DL once an hour at quarter past the hour, and returns from DL at half past the hour. Closer to park closing time, the shuttle does run every thirty minutes.

When we ate outside the parks, it was at TGI Fridays down the street on State College. There is a mall there, with a few restaurants and stores, pretty nice. There is a restaurant there called Left at Albuquerque, which we ate at 2 years ago and liked very much (southwestern food).

We used to LOVE this hotel, but we are definitely looking into something else for next year, hopefully on site.

Thanks for the info Carolyn. I guess we got a good deal through Hotwire $66 a Night. One last question does the shuttle go straight to Disneyland or does it make other stops along the way?

WOW. That's a great rate. Like I said, we used to love this hotel, I just think that maybe our tastes are changing.

To answer your question, the shuttle goes straight to Disneyland and back. Although on this past trip, the Anaheim Hilton had overbooked a convention and some of those people ended up at Hilton Suites. The shuttle would occasionally make a detour to the Anaheim Hilton to pick up or drop off a guest or two. But this is the first trip that has happened, and it added maybe 5 minutes on to our ride.
