Any Hilton honors members know this?
I am booking a trip on cash and points for December. I don’t want to wait I case point value increases. Do you know if I get more Hilton points before my trip- can I call to add more points to my reservation or lower cash amount? Anyone done this?
I did a chat and phone call and didn’t get a clear answer.

Love the Hilton Signia location.
I would guess that making any changes would completely alter your reservation and risk of losing . Might depend on a slow travel period with a lot of availability to alter points , etc.
But I think the answer is cancel and rebook as only option .
I would book it and take the risk with a 5 day cancel policy .

You may buy Hilton points. Also, if you pay in all points you will not pay the resort fee.

Right last trip we had all points and I loved no resort fee.

Can you book 2 consecutive stays now and then just see what happens with your point total? I priced the Signia, Conrad and Waldorf out pretty extensively for various times of year. Usually but not always there were signia rooms for 70k a night and Conrad/Waldorf rooms for 90k a night.

Say you’re going for a week…book now for days 1-4 all points (if have status get a 5th night free)… then also book the last few days now just cash. Can then try to adjust later as your needs may be. For example, call to hotel to just cancel 1st night in cash if you get enough points to then book with points.
