Hilton resort San Diego?

Are you talking about the one on Mission Bay? If so, we stayed there a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it. It is about a 2 minute drive to Seaworld.

Yes! Do you mind lettine me know some info like what the pool(s) were like (inside, outside, both) and what kind of room you had (view, type) and did you have a car?

Yes we did have a car, I think they charged us $20 a day to park it there. Our room was in the tower that was across from the lobby. Our room actually faced the interstate but you could see some of mission bay from the balcony. We didn't hear any noise from the interstate. The room itself was really nice, we had 2 queen beds and they were very comfortable.

We only went to the pool once. You have to use your key to get in. The pool was pretty big but it wasn't really anything special. i.e. no slides or anything. The shallow end was roped off but it was 3 1/2 feet so we had to stay in the pool with our youngest. The deep end was a lot bigger and I think at the deepest it was 12 feet. There was an actual kiddie pool. I didn't go over to it so I don't know if it was a wading pool or if it was a little deeper. It looked pretty small though. There was a band playing at the pool, I think they were doing 70's cover and they were SO LOUD. I don't know if they play every day. One cool thing is that they showed Nemo at the pool one night. They handed out warm towels that we used as a blanket. They were also selling hot chocolate and popcorn.

We stay there when we have a lot of family visiting SD. We all get rooms down by the bay with semi-private terraces and some have personal fire pits. They will also bring you firewood. The pool is good size, there's a great biking/walking/running trail along the water's edge, and the restaurant is quite good there. Very picturesque. Never had a bad stay there. You'll like it.
