I was just awarded the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek from Hotwire. Should I start crying now? I did my homework and really thought Id be getting the Swan. Its only one night, I know Ill survive, just a little disappointed.

Has anyone been? Thoughts?

We stayed 3 days in October, absolutely loved it. Great pool, lazy river, easy drive to wdw, nice buffet breakfast. Would choose it again

Ive been reading reviews online today regarding the resort. For the most part, people seem to love it. I just want to confirm the following.

1) Resort Fee is $25/night
2) Parking is an additional $20/night, not included in the resort fee
3) The buffet breakfast is $24.99/ pp

This was suppose to be an inexpensive last night in FL, as our flight leaves first thing in the morning. I paid $137.70 (taxes included) already. If the above is correct, Im starting to think we should have just added one night to our Disney stay. Too late now :(

I can confirm the parking is $20 per day and there is a resort fee but we didnt have to pay for both because we used Honors points to pay for the stay (I cant recall which was not part of Hilton Honors.) And the buffet too was comped for us so I am not sure of costs. Likely you are correct that Disney would have been more cost effective.

I haven't been but I am going in about 4 weeks. I too was a little disappointed when I found out that's where we were staying. (My boyfriend and I are doing a split stay-4 days with my mom and she chose Hilton Bonnet Creek and then when she leaves we'll be going to Art of Animation) It was my moms choice to do HBC and since she's paying for everything for those 4 days I can't really complain but after spending my first trip on site last year (we stayed at Pop) I was kind of bummed. HOWEVER, I read reviews and they are pretty much all glowing about HBC. Go on Yelp and it has I think 4 1/2 stars? It's not on Disney Property but It's so close that Disney gave it it's own direct exit onto the "Disney Highway". It has a lazy river, a Disney Store, great restaurants and it looks really nice. I wouldn't be too bummed out :)

The Bonnet Creek area is amazing and right next door to the Waldorf! I am sure you will LOVE it!

You should be cheering. I love that place. Been almost every year since it opened.
