Hilton in the WDW Resort - Priceline

Just bid on "resort" in WDW area for $60 and was excepted on Priceline for May 1st at the Hilton. WOW
Has anyone satyed there? Would appreciate your comments.

PS Taking my two niece's who lost their father 2 years ago.
Ages 4 and 7. We all are so excited and to be able to stay at such a wonderful resort

Congratulations on the resort. What a great price.

I've never stayed there but I know you're very close to Downtown Disney. Will you be renting a car? I've heard that it's better to drive yourself if you are in a Downtown Disney resort.

Check out www.passporter.com they have a review of the DTD Hilton. It seems to be pretty nice. We are staying there one night in June before the AKL and YC. I got it for $69.00 on Priceline. Good luck and enjoy your stay.

We've stayed there 3 times for a night before we checked into our WDW resort got it through Priceline too!

I really like the resort, it's very nice. Everytime the staff has been very nice and helpful! There are 2 large pools, a kiddie pool and 2 secluded hot tubs surrounded by lush landscaping. It's a short walk to Downtown Disney, just right across the street which was fun. We didn't use their transportation while we were there because we had our car. The rooms are large and very clean and I think some rooms have a view of downtown Disney if you're up higher. they also have a food court, restaurant and baby Disney Store in the lobby, I think they also have a character breakfast.

We are staying there the first night of our trip. I found some great reviews on www.bidding for travel.com . You have to pay attention to the dates though. The first several reviews are from a couple of years ago. They get much better as they go on. Evidently they have done some renovations.

When you get to Bidding For Travel- click on Florida-Orlando/Walt Disney World. Then click on Orlando Hotel List. Go down a little bit and you will see a list of the resorts. Find Hilton and click on LINK TO HOTEL REVIEW. Hope this helps. It really relieved our minds after we read it.
