As a time killer at work today, I was looking at hotels for a pre-cruise night.

Our cruise leaves 5/27/17.

Hilton website is showing an almost 100% occupancy rate within 10 miles of PC.

Does this seem odd, or is because it is still almost a year out from cruise?

It may still be too early. Some hotels don't release inventory a year out. Keep checking, or call the hotel direct.

Holiday Weekend, 5/29/2017 is Memorial Day.

I often experience this with the Hilton family of hotels. Many don't post their inventory until about 11 months out. Check back in a few weeks - I'm sure you'll be fine!

I've had this issue before which is why I posted it, but looking at Hilton's website, the Doubletree in Cocoa does have rooms available. And Hilton properties in Melbourne have rooms. It could be that they really are that booked up given the holiday weekend, as erionm posted.

I went ahead and booked the Doubletree. I like the Hampton Inn at Cocoa. I will just keep checking back to see if a room opens up at the Hampton.

Try again next week. I just experienced this with another hotel's site for rooms next year -- got the message "sorry, there are no rooms available for those dates", then under it it says cannot book more than 12 months out.

ALSO -- call the toll free number -- they may have inventory they can book for you now.

Some hotels won't book just one night. This was not for a Hilton or in Florida, but after trying unsuccessfully to book a hotel for one night I tried for two, and sure enough they had rooms for both nights, but not just the one. I think it's hotel snobbery, but whatever works for them.

Same thing happened to me at the Homewood Suites in PC. They're not full. Just wait a few days and try again.
