Hi,

We will be staying at the Hilton on WDW property in mid Feb with our 2 yr old daughter. What is this one like? Is it decorated any special way since it is on Disney property? We were told that busses come every hour on the half hour for the parks so we won't need to use a car. We were also told that we will be a short walk to down town disney. Any one have any advice on room requests or things to do at the hotel?
I think since we will be there right before Presidents day the weather will most likely be too cold for swimming...true? My daughter loves to swim but I don't want to get her hopes up.
Any advice would help!
Thank you,
Beth :cool1:

Very nice hotel. Only a crosswalk away from DTD which was great ! Not Disney decorated (but you have DTD right there!), but does have a very small Disney Store and a Disney Character Breakfast that looked cute. Take suits, you never know with the weather. If you are Hilton Honors and qualify for Executive level, nice lounge with breakfast items, evening appetizers, beverage bar and snacks all day. Had a room facing MK and we could watch the fireworks at night. We did not use the buses, we drove.

Spent one night there recently, 11/4. Had a junior suite (w/pull out bed for the kids). It was nicely sized, clean room.

The hotel was clean, employees pleasant and accomodating. The pool was large and warm. The hot-tubs were awesomely hot.

They have a limited menu Starbucks, a great breakfast buffet (which was included in our room price), and a shop with to go items and snacks. They have a character breakfast on Sunday mornings.

There's a Benihana's restuarant on site. The food was good, and the prices were reasonable compared to Disney prices. The quality was great.

We were only their a brief time, but there was little in the way of food on the executive level. Cookies, bananas, apples, nuts, assorted beverages, bagels for breakfast, but not a good variety as we've seen on other concierge levels. Maybe it was an off night... :confused3

DTD Marketplace is right across the street. Wolfgang Puck's Express is a wonderful counter service restaurant.

We'd stay there again. We just had one night as we arrived at MCO in the late afternoon, and figured we'd stay off site the first night....So no bus experience...
