Hilton Honors instant gold and challenge

OK this is a stretch when it comes to posting on the rewards board, but since Hilton honors points can be used for Disney passes-here goes.

E Rewards is offering a promotion that will allow you to get Gold VIP status immediately. If you call 1-800-548-8690, tell them you want the e rewards gold challenge promotion. The code for this is EWRDC. When I called I was immediately upgraded to Gold status ( checked it out on the www.hiltonhhonors.com page). This is good for at least a year-could be a bit longer. I've gotten conflicting info.

Now-this part doesn't apply to me but maybe someone who travels a lot for business or who's spouse does can use it. Part of the gold challenge is an offer that will give you 50,000 hilton honors points if you have 4 qualifying stays in the next 90 days. Here's how it works

1st stay earns you 5,000 points
2ns stay earns you 10,000 points
3rd stay earns you 15,000 points
4th stay earns you 20,000 points
total 50,000 points-that's almost enough for a 4 day park hopper plus pass (65,000 points adult-55,000 kids)

IT ALWAYS COMES BACK TO DISNEY, DOESN'T IT!!!

Thanks for posting this! My hubby is doing this promotion right now. He just finished a similar one earlier in the year and got his 50K points. He's now working on his 2nd 50K . We used a bunch of HH points to stay at the Toyko Bay Hilton last October when we visited Toyko Disneyland.

The nice thing about hilton gold are the perks. We stay at the Hilton Anaheim when we go to Disneyland. Pay the cheapest rate I can get ($89 over memorial day weekend) and we get access to the Towers Conceirge lounge. Breakfast, snacks, drinks. And their conceirge offers so much more in the way of food than disney for at least a third or more the price. They will upgrade your room to the conceirge level if there is room at no additional charge (we did this at the downtown disney hilton WDW it was great) And you can combine spouses to one account so you get points even if you stay separately. The trick though is to stay the 16 nights the next year to keep your gold level.
