Is April a very busy time at HH? I called Disney to check the rates. The CM did not sound like she knew what she was doing. It took her 10 minutes to find the rates. She quoted me a studio at $294 a night and a 2 BR at $410. Is that right? It sounds really high.

April is usually Easter, plus, school kids in the South have spring break later than other school systems, usually first week of April. Oh yeah, it's a very popular time with golfers, too. So I imagine they'd charge top dollar at DVC HH in April. Sounds expensive, yes...but it's what the market will bear. :earseek:

There's the Heritage Golf Classic (I think that's it), a Pro event, in April that makes everything packed, at least for the weeks surrounding that event (I think it's April 15th or so). That does seem rather high for HH in April, though. I think it's the same rate as March, when a 1 BR ordinarily goes for about $220. If you're hoping to go this April, be aware that there are very few studios so I don't know if you'd be able to get one.
