I am trying to find out some information on my new "Home".

1. When was it built/opened.

2. What was the original cost per point.

If anyone remembers I would be grateful. I try doing searches, but I am never successful, and I have started reading at the end of the posts (over 300 pages) and it's slow going. LOL Thanks to all you HH experts.

The Hilton Head resort opened in 1996 -- I don't remember exactly what month, though.

And, I can't tell you the exact cost per point, but my guess would be probably somewhere around $60???

HH opened in March, 1996.

We purchased an add-on in March 1995- pre-construction and the cost per point was $56, I believe. The original cost was actually higher ($60?) , but they lowered it for those few of us who had pre-purchased, due to some changes made in the offering subsequent to our signing the paperwork.

Since we had a June use year, we got no points until June, 1996.

Thanks, I was interested in the history. My DH and I are very excited. We should be closing in about 3 weeks. There was a bit of bad news, well not really bad, but one of the reasons why we decided to buy in HH was because my sister lived in North Carolina, and we don't get to see her and our nephews much. My DS is 6 hers are 6 & 4. Well she just found out today that her DH just got a job offer in Maryland and they will probably be moving!!! Hey - more points for me!!!!!!!! LOL
