I am considering staying at HH during the 4th of July 2007. I was wondering how crowded itr gets, and how quick it books up. My home resort is SS.

The resort is almost always filled to capacity from Memorial Day through Labor Day. I've heard CMs say that the July 4 week has the most guests, meaning more people per room than normal.

We are HH owners, so we are able to book at 11 months. I have heard that members who call day-by-day right at 7 months are usually able to get a 2BR. I wouldn't hold my breath if you're looking for a studio or 1BR though.

I hope the 2 BR strategy works for us next summer. We are attempting to take a 1 year break from the parks and want to go in June. I will have the 7 month window marked on my calendar. I guess my backup plan would be to try VB if I can't obtain HH at 7 months. HH is much closer to us though.

...when making resi's and you should do fine. I own @ BWV and have never gotten shut out at HHI (went last Easter and am going last week this August) or Vero( been there twice in June and once in August). I always call everyday of my stay and add on the day to be sure. I love both of those resorts.

We stayed HHI 6/24/06 in a studio. This was a last minute decision. We had spent the week in Tybee Island, Ga, with friends, and decided that we should check out HHI since we were so close.

I called MS Friday and had my choice of points or cash. I chose cash since it was for one night only.

I do realize that it was a weekend night, but I was surprised with no notice to be able to secure a reservation. Good luck! We can't wait to back my girls loved HHI.
