Hilton Head - whats in the area

We are going to Hilton Head for the first time in April, school vacation week. We have always done Myrtle Beach previously, we are a family of 5, three daughters, 12, 6, 3. What is there to do in that immediate area. Will we find minature golf, family resturants - chain type, etc. Any help or suggestions with our planning would be appreciated.

There are several miniature golf courses on the island -- one is even walking distance from the resort.

There are about 300 restaurants on the island and almost all of them are family-friendly. Be sure to pick up the restaurant guide with the menus when you check into the resort to help you choose.

And don't forget all the activities the resort offers! I think you'll find something for all your kids there.

Last time we were there, there was a great ice cream shop right nearby.

You'll want to rent bikes for sure! Our kids love to take family bike rides when at HH. We bike over to one of the miniature golf places that is close by. You're little one might fit in a bike trailer (for lack of a better word) or a seat on the back. The island has many bike paths. You can even bike to the beach house if you want to! My children also take advantage of many of the programs at the resort. HH is one of our favorite family destinations.
