Hilton Head - week of July 4th

We -- myself, husband, DD 11 and DS 5 -- are headed to HH for the week of July 4th. This is our first visit there and we are very excited. Just wondering how many other DISers will be there during that time....

We will be there from July 1-5. Our party will consist of me, DH, DS's 12 & 13, and my parents. We are spending 2 nights just outside of Charleston before we arrive in HH. We have been to HH once before in February 2002, and can't wait for our first summer trip!

We arrive this Friday until July 4! This is a great week to be there.

Plan on taking the "Behind the Ears" tour. It's a great intro to the resort.

Just missing you doc...we arrive on the 6th (Sunday) and leave on Friday morning. There will be 8 of us in TWO - 2 bedroom units...so we will have TONS of room. My kids are older (18/15/14) and a friend who is 14, along with the 2 of us and 2 grandparents. I'm really looking foward to it now!

Will arrive in HH on Sunday, June 29th and leave Saturday, July 5th. Have two DD's ages 9 and 5. You will probably find us at the pool and beach the most, although we want to try as many of the activities as we can.

Really looking forward to the fireworks!!

Doc, does Disney allow do it yourself fireworks as well (I assume not)?

I've been there the last 4 years for the 4th and have never seen any fireworks except those fired from the barge behind the resort. They are prohibited at the beach. I would think they're not allowed at the resort, just because of the heavily wooded grounds and there is no clearing at all.

I'd sure ask before setting any off yourself!

We will be at HH from July 20 - 26- Me, DH, DS age 13; DD age 10 and DS age 6 in a 2 bedroom. Anyone else there that week?
